The Workshop – Closing Up Shop

It’s a lot harder to write a post like this than you would initially think. As you can probably tell from the title, the time has come for me to step away from the d20 Radio blog as a weekly contributor. Life has gotten busy (in both good and not so good ways) and other interests have pulled me away from the keyboard too much for me to maintain a weekly presence here. So I have elected not to renew my lease on this particular workshop.

While this particular series will be shuttering, there’s an equally talented writer that will be filling this Tuesday slot starting next week. And fear not! Or maybe do – I don’t know how you feel about my articles. I’ll still be doing my own writing on the side and throwing the occasional piece Wayne’s way for publication. I’ll make sure to let you all know where you can find me on this big wide internet.

Normally, someone would leave you with a pithy remark or words of wisdom at the end of an article like this. But c’mon, you’ve all read my pieces so you know that’s not happening.

It’s been a pleasure, Gamer Nation. Save me a space at your tables and I’ll see you around.

Ben Erickson

Contributing Writer for d20 Radio
Mild mannered fraud analyst by day, incorrigible system tinker monkey by night, Ben has taken a strong interest in roleplaying games since grade school, especially when it comes to creation and world building. After being introduced to the idea through the Final Fantasy series and kit-bashing together several games with younger brother and friends in his earliest years to help tell their stories, he was introduced to the official world of tabletop roleplaying games through the boxed introductory set of West End Games Star Wars Roleplaying Game before moving into Dungeons and Dragons.
