Lock S-Foils in Attack Position

Synergy, thy name is Rebel! This list is pure efficiency. It is all about sharing actions and trying to squeeze more than four actions out of four ships. It’s also beefy with 6 to 8 health per ship and each throwing three attack dice.

The ideal scenario involves Benthic moving, taking a Focus action. Keeps one Focus token, passes one onto Edrio. Heff and Blue Squadron move, take Focus actions. Edrio gets a free action, takes a Focus which Jyn turns into an Evade. Then takes a Lock. Your opponent bumps into Heff, giving him a free action to either Lock or Coordinate one of the other ships.

The beauty here is you don’t need the perfect scenario to happen in order to gain efficiency from your pilots. You can coordinate as needed or use Edrio pre maneuver free action to boost or barrel roll. Jyn gives the ship with the biggest bullseye painted on it the Evade. Benthic can pass his focus to someone other than Edrio based on need. And everything works at range 2 so you can have a pretty loose formation.

The biggest threat is arc dodgers. You’re only initiative 2 after all. The U-Wings medium bases are also prone to giving your opponent bullseye abilities. Stress can also be a worry. I flew against Admiral Sloane and getting your U-wings triple stressed can take them out of the fight for awhile.

Variations

Jyn is not necessary if you wanted to switch out for someone else. Hera’s always fun on U-Wings. No one expects multiple rounds of stopping. But you’d have to ditch Tactical Officer too and that’s not worth losing on this list.

There isn’t much else to play with other than possibly dropping the Advanced Sensors. But I wouldn’t. Being able to get your double focus on a turn where you’re stopping or bumping is very valuable.
