Lore Check: Bloodrush

Greetings Faithful Followers!

As you all know, every good thing must come to an end, and tBloodrushhis entry will be the last in the write ups for the Jefferson Knights. My Mutants & Masterminds game has come to an early end in favor of other games. So for this last entry, I present the villain who almost put an early end to the Jefferson Knights; Bloodrush. I hope you enjoy!

Bloodrush

Name: Unknown

Identity: Secret

Occupation: Vampire

Age: Unknown

Height: 6’0″

Weight: 183 lbs.

Hair: Black

Eyes: Red

Base of Operations: Mobile

Group Affiliation: None

Known Abilities:

Bloodrush began as a human occultist and learned how to perform ritual magic and create magical items. As a vampire, he possesses all of the usual powers that you’d expect a vampire to have; strength and durability as well as claws and fangs and of course a taste for human blood. In addition, he has learned that he can drain the powers of metahumans when he feeds on them. If he kills the metahumans he feeds on, he can permanently duplicate their powers!

Background:

Bloodrush first encountered the Jefferson Knights during their first patrol; Velocity and Karma were leading the founding members when Bloodrush attacked! The fledgling group lacked the teamwork to successfully defend themselves and the vampire was able to feed from the team’s leaders, killing them!

If it weren’t for their team mates and some quick blood transfusions, they would have perished. Bloodrush walked away from that encounter with the powers of both Velocity and Karma. After learning to use his new abilities, he returned, determined to finish the job and claim the lives of all the Jefferson Knights! He has become one of the team’s most dangerous and persistent enemies.

Personality:

Bloodrush enjoys the power he possesses, despite the inherent weaknesses his condition imposes on him. He enjoys striking fear into his victims and toying with his prey before striking. His ego drives him to make sure that his enemies know that he is behind whatever plot he’s currently behind.

His primary motivations are to rid himself of the banes of his vampire existence and to feed on and acquire the powers of as many metahumans as he can, though the Jefferson Knights remain one of his favorite groups to torment!

Alex Montoya

Alex hasn't done anything worthwhile with his life. He's a great disappointment to his family and friends (even his dog looks at him with shame). Despite his many, many failures and general lack of any redeeming qualities, we took pity on him and let him in here at the Gamer Nation (I don't think we'll ever get rid of that lingering smell now). They say every group of "hotties" needs to keep an ugly friend around to make them look better and It seems that keeping this poor wretch around really does the trick!
