This week we&#8217;re going to get into some more specifics about deck building by looking at the Battlefields. Qui-Gon loves it because it combos very nicely with his ability. It also stands out as useful to Padme and Jabba in particular because their strategies usually do not resolve around dealing direct damage to your opponent. Then you may resolve that die.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Character Combos<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Padme Amidala<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Kylo Ren<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Poe Dameron<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Strategies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Awakenings there are only three characters with a special so this battlefield combos more with upgrades than particular characters. Many\u00a0Blue deck Force ability upgrades have very nice specials. It allows you to claim while your opponent still has valuable dice in the pool and eliminate one of them. This is very useful when you have multiple non-unique characters. Equipping them all with upgrades takes time and a lot of resources and the Imperial Armory makes that cheaper.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9394\" src=\"https:\/\/www.d20radio.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/JediTemple-300x211.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"211\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.d20radio.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/JediTemple-300x211.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.d20radio.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/JediTemple.jpg 348w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Jedi Temple<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Look at an opponents hand and discard up to two events.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Character Combos<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Padme Amidala<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Admiral Ackbar<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Count Dooku<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Jabba the Hutt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Strategies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is another battlefield that goes well with mill decks. Unlike Command Center this eliminates cards from an opponent&#8217;s hand instead of their deck. Ackbar in particular likes this as it has the potential to trigger his ability. \u00a0It is limited to events but those are likely to be the majority of the cards in someone&#8217;s deck.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9396\" src=\"https:\/\/www.d20radio.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Spaceport-300x209.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"209\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.d20radio.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Spaceport-300x209.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.d20radio.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Spaceport.jpg 348w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Mos Eisley Spaceport<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Return an upgrade to your hand to gain 1 resource.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Character Combos<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Rey<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Qui-Gon Jinn<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Strategies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Rey is particularly suited to this card if\u00a0you have some cheap upgrades. You can play a 1 point upgrade\u00a0during the round, trigger Rey&#8217;s extra action and then at the end of the round return the upgrade to your hand and recover the resource cost so you can do it again next round. It is also useful on Qui-Gon with Jedi Robes. You won&#8217;t recover the resource cost but when you play the robes he gets a shield, potentially triggering his ability.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-9395\" src=\"https:\/\/www.d20radio.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/RebelWarRoom-300x211.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"211\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.d20radio.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/RebelWarRoom-300x211.png 300w, https:\/\/www.d20radio.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/RebelWarRoom.png 350w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Rebel War Room<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>Resolve one of your dice.
