Ask and ye shall receive. I recently put out an entry for the\u00a0Terminus-<\/em>class destroyer and its cousin the\u00a0Gage<\/em>-class transport<\/a>. Known for supporting, or acting in the absence of,\u00a0Harrower<\/em>-class vessels, an immediate request was, “Hey wait, what about those dreadnoughts?” Well, here ya go!<\/p>\n

Heavily armed and armored, Sith\u00a0Harrower<\/em>-class dreadnoughts are the pride of the Imperial Navy. While much fewer in number than the\u00a0Terminus<\/em>-class destroyers, dreadnoughts serve as line of battle ships and command vessels in Imperial fleets.\u00a0Such a pride of place in the Imperial navy means the\u00a0Harrower<\/em>-class is also top choice for the flagship of conquest-oriented Sith Lords.<\/p>\n

In battle, Harrowers<\/em> remain behind screens of lesser\u00a0Terminus\u00a0<\/em>destroyers and squadrons of fighters, putting their complement of turbolasers to use at range. Although such valuable assets make close-in fighting a dangerous prospect, particularly daring captains have been known to exploit the\u00a0Harrower’s\u00a0<\/em>heavy armor and numerous torpedo tubes to cleave through enemies at near point blank range. Now known as the Kilran Lunge, after now Grand Moff Rycus Kilran’s famous victory at the Battle of Ord Ibanna, such an audacious maneuver is generally considered a gamble of last resort.<\/p>\n

Although primarily thought of as instruments of seizing control of the spacelanes,\u00a0Harrower<\/em>-class dreadnoughts boast considerable troop and cargo capacities. An entire infantry brigade, complete with vehicles and equipment, can embark on these battleships. Massive, exposed hangar bays allow several waves of shuttles to land ground forces expeditiously. These dreadnoughts can not only carry thousands of troops, but their crews are drilled extensively in planetary bombardment, allowing the Sith to rain turbolaser hammer blows on any defenders opposing the ground assault.<\/p>\n
