Dismantler Droids were popular throughout the galaxy for their ability to efficiently salvage nearly any technology and turn whatever was left into scrap, as well as defend any outpost or junk world they were assigned to. Due to their hazardous mission, they\u00a0featured a nearly indestructible umbrella-shaped shell, four stable crab-like legs, repulsorlift drives, and electrified pincers outfitted with saws and industrial flame projectors. They were heavily restricted due to their combat applications.<\/p>\n
