The Workshop – Wayne (D&D 5e)

Letterkenny title screen.

Several trailers for season seven of the Canadian phenomenon known as Letterkenny dropped the other day, to much rejoicing from fans of the series. And because my brain works in mysterious ways, I was struck with the idea of taking some of the more popular quotes from the show and turning them into monster abilities for 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons. We’ve all heard about Squirrely Dan and the legend of the wind and know that he might “appreciates” Miss Katy a bit too much. We know that Wayne is the toughest guy in Letterkenny and that he’s more than willing to prove it with a scrap. At least after he has a dart. And then there’s the battle cry “pitter patter let’s get at ‘er!” (Still lost? This might help a little bit.)

And, as always, the idea grew from there into what you see below you. Imagine if you will, me furiously typing notes into my phone the other night while at a concert. Meanwhile, my girlfriend just shook her head as the realization of just how far I will go for a joke hit her once again.

And as you all well know, I can’t leave well enough alone, so stay tuned for some DND treatments for some of your other favorite characters from the show in coming weeks as well.

      • Better ‘n CR 10-ply. Figger it out. 😉

Mostly I just didn’t want to go too wild with stuff in order to have a pretty usable stat block on top of the joke unlike the one that was going around a few weeks ago for MJF. ‘pert near completed that task I’d say. Might be some potential for some other CR variants down the road.
