Gamer Nation in Review- May 2015

Greetings Gamer Nation!

Are you ready for sum, sum, sum, sum, sum, sum, summer time? The air, it’s hot and damp. The sun, it burns us. It’s the perfect time of year to crank up the AC and get to some gaming.

What’s coming in June? First, I’d like to introduce you all to our latest group of Staff Writers to formally join the team. Each of these fine writers have already contributed some wonderful articles. They’ll be bringing more in the coming months, including some new regular segments.

Profile PicAlex Montoya

Alex hasn’t done anything worthwhile with his life. He’s a great disappointment to his family and friends (even his dog looks at him with shame). Despite his many, many failures and general lack of any redeeming qualities, we took pity on him and let him in here at the Gamer Nation (I don’t think we’ll ever get rid of that lingering smell now). They say every group of “hotties” needs to keep an ugly friend around to make them look better and It seems that keeping this poor wretch around really does the trick!

Steve “Jaspor” Orr

StevenOrr1Jaspor has been hooked on video games since he first played the old Gold Box D&D games on his Commodore 64. Since then, he’s played games of all shapes and sizes, and enjoys writing about them.

Jaspor has been a writer, editor, and occasional producer for several MMO related websites. He’s also made periodic appearances on podcasts and videocasts, usually discussing video games. More recently, he’s discovered the joy of table top RPGs and has been playing and GM’ing Star Wars Edge of the Empire games since October 2013.

In a former life Jaspor played guitar in a punk rock band that sang about drinking beer.
