CURRENT PROGRESS - EC HARD MODE Toth/Zorn -Downed this, looking to farm status Tonight Firebrand/StormCaller - Current Focus Colonel Vorgath - Took a couple tries but got him down Warlord Kephess - Got the fight mechanics down, needed to gear up a bit
EC Normal Toth/Zorn - Farm Status Firebrand/StormCaller - Farm Status Colonel Vorgath - Farm Status Warlord Kephess - Farm Status
Time and Dates Every Tuesday - HARD MODE Form Up - 6:30pm Central Start - 7:00pm central first pull End - 9:00pm Hard Stop (Soft End - 3 pulls without significant progress)
Every Monday- Farm Run Form Up - 6:30pm Central Start - 7:00pm central first pull End - 9:00pm Hard Stop
Raid Makeup - Tuesdays
Tanks - 1. Aurthion 2. Aeiranda Alt - Tarnen
Healers - 1. Kolavere 2. Lafiel DPS 1. Oznah 2. Bacon 3. Allandria 4. Zeece
Raid Makeup - Mondays Tanks - 1. Aurthion 2. Aeiranda Alt - Tarnen
Healers - 1. Kolavere 2. Lafiel DPS 1. Oznah 2. Bacon 3. Allandria 4. Zeece
Progression - We will move down the list moving to the next when we get a week of one shots through the instance.
1. Denova Story Mode - Farm Raid 2. Eternity Vault Nightmare Mode - Done 3. Denova Hard Mode - Current Raid Focus 4. Karraga's Palace Nightmare Mode
We will then tackle the nightmare modes for the titles between other content as time is available.
Expectations - What you can expect from me - 1. Well planned and researched strategies for every encounter. 2. Cheerleader-esque moral support and class help. 3. Fair and even calls with regard to alternates/loot/significant progress. 4. Respectful and friendly banter during the raid. 5. Dedication to excellence - I am constantly trying to find a better way, I promise to continue that. 6. Respect for your time - We will not continue after the hard or soft stops, even if we are | | close to killing the last boss.
What I expect from you 1. An open mind and willingness to be awesome - We are going to smack down the best they can throw at us, and sometimes that will mean that we have to pioneer strategies. 2. Punctual Raid Arrival and Notification of issues - We all know life happens and there will be times I am sure that life will get in my way. All I ask is be here when you say you will, and notify the raid ( Via this thread ) as soon as reasonably possible of anything that will prevent that. (punctual means having your stims and such ready too) 3. Dedication to Execellence - Try to get better, try out rotations, take a look at builds, consistantly try to do your role better than you did last week. ( Help and advice will be readily available to anyone that doesn't know where to start on this. ) 4. Be respectful and friendly to the raid - Wiping is stressful, we will do analysis on why but that should never be personal. If I mess up I am going to admit it in Ops/Vent and try to fix it, I ask the same of you.
Requirements for the raid 1. Ventrillo - Some of the strategies require split second coordination 2. Stims and buffs - It is just as much part of your character as your gear, please be ready with a raid worth of them (for our time slot this means one - We can all do that * I am willing to help with credits if you get with me before the day of the raid *) 3. Near full Columi / Equivalent before we start - This is to ensure success in the raid and while not a hard requirement ( we have seen guys in Greens rock star ) it will be heavily considered. a. We are starting on a raid that will be giving us heavily Columi and Rakata gear but quickly progressing to more difficult challenges. You will have a chance to gear up but coming in with Greens and expecting the raid to do the character pre-work for you won't happen. 4. A smile - Believe it or not we can hear you smile or frown in Vent *it's true*
If anyone has any questions please feel free to message me, post here or email me devlin at devlinliles.com
Oh yes and If you happen to catch me on vent remind me to Thank my wife for letting this happen.
Loot - Due to the change in how gear is awarded in hard mode I am purposing the use of a slightly different system for loot distribution. It will involve a little bit of consideration and focus on gear out the lowest pieces of the raid so that we can help the raid as a whole. Here is my idea. ( feel free to suggest modification, or a completely different idea ).
1. Loot piece for Chest and Hands drop. 2. The chest is linked into raid 3. Everyone then posts their average rating for that item ( aka the average of the mod, enhancement, and armoring - 56, 58, 61 ) 4. The lowest averages roll.
The reasoning behind this is that several people are still rocking Columi in a couple places ( Aurthion's offhand and legs ), or Tionese ( Kolavere's Hilt ). These give the best bang for the buck on the upgrades for the raid as a whole.
For non set pieces and armoring - I believe that we are more than capable of putting these in the best hands possible for the raid in a fair and friendly manner.
1. Consular healing armoring drops 2. Discussion on who needs, and what armoring they are upgrading with it. 3. Armoring is awarded - or rolled off by those healers that cannot agree/have equal need.

Sign Praetoris up as ranged dps tentatively. I'm nearly 100% certain this won't conflict with Pain (wed. night group) as we're not doing hard modes. I will double check with Zeece on this.

I would like to be a part of this group. Tuesdays are good for me and I am not part of any other Ops groups which would conflict.

I would like to tank this, but I need to figure out what our Sunday group's plans are for getting into Hard Mode EV before I can commit and use up my lockout.

If Kolevare is lending her Sage healing arts ... Zeece would be interested in lending his guns.

Great run tonight we got Toth and Zorn down, worked out some raid balance and learning issues and got Stormcaller and Firebrand about half way down. I have posted detailed strategies in another thread that should help us knock these out next week. http://www.d20radio.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=70&t=10539Thanks!!! You guys ROCK!

Let me know if there's ever any openings, timing looks pretty good for me, and I'd love to get into some regular raiding groups.

Guys, I am going to be "that guy". I am going to be tied up at our office until later tonight, and not able to make the raid so I ask the following favors of everyone.
Please find a volunteer to lead the raid tonight - The strategies are on the other thread. We have an alt tank - TARNEN YOUR UP
Lastly, mock me mercilessly for this every future raid.
Sorry, Devlin ( Aurthion )

Tarnen and Starkweather added last night.. Bacon had some nasty lag issues so Stark came to help Z&T
Zorn and Toth down on the 4th try
Firebrand and Stormcaller we got to around 4% several times before hitting the enrage timer... So close.
We got our mechanics down pretty solidly we just need to focus on overall DPS to finally get them down now.
