Wrap up for 23 April:
Soa is a pain. And on Hard Mode it's a more painful pain. But that said, we defeated all of the bosses up until that point on HM with the only real snag being the pylons as we needed to work out some kinks in our communication and planning. We did end up getting Soa to 15% on the last try. Aside from the start of the first attempt making us look bad, we nailed the transitions on our other attempts so "Good Job!" to everyone. Just remember to watch out for the lightning balls since there are now 2 of them on HM.
It was a Gunslinger night with a lot of gear going to Raymont. The troopers got some love as well with some nice drops and Faf got his Jedi-ness 2 pairs of shoes!
Renza, Faf, and Kolavere got new schematics as well.
Here's looking to next week and dropping Soa on HM.

Based on the parser I used, it looks like I finished the Infernal Council fight right at 100 seconds. I've sent the log, so hopefully the rest of the information can be gleaned by our experts soon.

yall should have my rapid stat spreadsheet in your mail now to go through. I'll probably work on a more extensive one as the week goes on.

Quick note:
Plan for tonight's run is Hardmode Eternity Vault, and push through Soa as many times as we can prior to 9:00, ignoring the 3 strikes rule for tonight.
We will not have Zeece, but we send our condolences to Clayton's family and look forward to him rejoining us next week.
I hope to have recruited a solid DPS stand-in who hasn't burnt their EV Hard Mode lockout by start time.

So, hard mode EV done...and story mode Explosive Conflict wasn't a total disaster.
Since Karagga's is our next challenge, do we need to go over tactics? Given that the rancor has no aggro table, should the tanks switch to DPS stances? Do we need to drop more AoEs when the adds appear? Inquiring minds want to know!
By the way, I've updated my gear in the Building for Operations thread, if anyone is interested.

So many things I do are dependent upon my tank stance that I would be worthless in a different stance. Basically I would be crap DPS and would lose all damage mitigation ability.

Looks like Karagga's Palace tonight - is there any required reading before the run?
Also, I find myself once again needing to finish the Black Hole heroic before the weekly resets tomorrow. If any of the usual suspects wants to knock this out either before or after tonight's run, let me know.
EDIT: I have one other suggestion for the tanks. Instead of starting with an Endurance stim, get a stim for your damage stat (green if the blue one is too expensive). That will up damage slightly without compromising your core abilities.

I need to do the weekly as well.. assuming I am awake after all the work my dentist does to me today. Wednesday Nights group did up through Foreman Crusher so I've seen those fights and they don't change signficantly mechanically from Normal mode... just more hit points and harder to heal. Tips and Tricks for Karagga's is here https://sites.google.com/site/theordero ... a-s-palaceI am also in the process of updating the guides.. give it an hour and you can read.

Further reading says all fights in Hardmode are identical to normal mode just with more hit points and tighter enrage timers.
