Barefoottourguide, I have enjoyed listening to Threat Detected immensely (though I am a few episodes behind), and I love what you have done in re-designing Dawn of Defiance. I was wondering if you could help me plan out and design a campaign. My basic idea follows just after KotoR 2. Bastilla sends a group of PCs so search for Revan and possibly retrieve him from the Unknown Regions. I was also hoping to use the bevy of characters introduced in both games.
If you would be at all interested in helping me design this, I would greatly appreciate it. The ending of KotoR 2 left a lot of room to work with and I would love to take a stab at it. Keep in mind that this idea was spawned just before the Old Republic was released and I have not played it, so any information given in that game would have to probably be completely thrown out.

I'd be willing to throw in my two cents here and there. I'm no where the level of campaign awesomeness that Garrett is, but I've worn the GM robes often in my life and I love the KotOR games.
Are you looking for character builds (which is definitely Garrett's domain) or just plot ideas/ways to get characters into the sessions/etc.? Because that is more up my line.
Also, in case you are wondering who the heck I am I have a character in Threat Detected, but he's a bit in the future from where the show is at right now so it's no one you'd recognize unless you checked out our obsidian portal page.
The main reason I offer is because I know how busy Garrett's life is and I'd like you to get some help on your cool idea even if Garrett doesn't have the time to do so. Though he always finds time for all the little stuff, so he may be able to find a little more for this.

I'm very intrigued. I have to admit, I haven't played TOR or KOTOR 1/2. My PC was too slow for KOTOR, and my poor PS2 never got the game. Please, PM me with your ideas, the canon you want to include, the kinds of things you enjoyed from the games and directtions you're interested in. If there are comic issues I should look at, let me know. After finishing up Lord of the Hives, it would be cool to research and brainstorm an area of Star Wars where I'm very much an ignoramus. Garrett

I'd also be willing to throw some ideas in if you'd like a third set of extra ideas. I've played both KOTOR games (although only one time through KOTOR 2) so I'm relatively familiar with the setting. I always like to come up with cool campaign ideas and brainstorm new things so I'd definitely be down with helping out!

I'd suggest reading the Revan novel that came out not to long ago. I'm not sure if you can find it in paperback just yet, but you can find it in hardcover at your favorite local bookstore, or possiibly as an Ebook at an online seller. I found the copy I read at the library.
It's a great read and it covers where Revan went and what was going on in that time period.
