Hey gang,

If you have not been on STO in awhile, check it out now. It is really rocking. They have really added some neat features lately.

Asteriod Mining in space suits
New Doff assignment ON BOARD your ship. (i.e. in the ship interior maps.)
The new Dominion Featured Episodes.
Lots of cool ships (mostly in the C-store sadly)
Revamped mission chain.

Seriously, come check it out. It is now free.

Thanks,
Duncan

I've not had a chance to hit up the Shipboard DOFF missions yet. But I'm dying to.

Ensign Hal is napping, so I got some Trek time (tm).

Bridge Interior missions rock. The interface was slow at first (options? Eek!) but it really improves the existence of interiors. I don't play socially (rare enough I get time, why not blast something when I do?), but now I've got a reason to hit Engineering, and my Ready Room. Also, a reason to carry around Tribbles!

Great stuff, I love it.

I've gotta agree- Hopped back on for the first time in a long while last week and I've had a blast with everything. Perhaps some day I'll actually get to play with some of y'all!

Vanen, perpetual fleet transfer. ^_-

I saw you online today (but our toddler went nuts and I had to log off), good to meet you!

Gotta admit, I'm pretty impressed with the latest upgrades.

Finally you actually were on! I been wondering if you would stop by anytime soon.

cjovalle, as long as you have your application in order, I will fix that paperwork next time I am on.

Thanks,
Duncan

I try and play at least once a week. Sometimes all I can do is check my Duty Officers and log off. But I do try and get one mission a week. Life and such is a lot busier now than it was in 2010 when the game went live. Which is both good and bad.

Now that STO is free to play (and she got a new computer) my wife is even in the fleet.

I've been enjoying the heck out of STO the past couple of weeks too.

At first, I was really intimidated by the strangeness of it all. Re-assigning skill points for my captain, BOFFs, figuring out what to do with my DOFFs, new currencies, new missions, where to start, IS THAT A BORG INVASION???

*pant*

Yeah, it feels like a bigger game than it did when I left, and replaying episodes for fun AND scaling rewards is awesome!
