1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66?
Because I never listen to...
Er, because I am looking for casual gamers.

2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies?
Mmm, the usual I suppose. I like star wars, like SWSE, etc. I have experience with a few games including SWG back before it under went all the patches.
I am actually on a different server, but I am planning on switching just to join you guys.

3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.
Casual. MMOs are just a chance to hang out and mess around online

4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that?
No, but I ran a guild back on SWG.

5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each.
Just the aforementioned SWG days. Just me and the guys. I pretty much ran the thing, because I happened to be able to grind enough back in the day to fund the credits to keep the whole darn guild running leaving everyone else a chance to leisure about on crafts and silliness. In retrospect I shoulda let them grind a little more, but hey it was fun.

6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you.
Well, I'm a doctor who works for the USN. Married. That means not much time for anything else. So really looking forward to some casual gaming.

7. And finally, finally, what is the name, if any, of the Character you would like to have in the guild?
Mmm, switching servers. It will probably be the Trooper I'm rolling (Jenhale) with the plan to tank, but I haven't decided.

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66?
After listening to both ... well, maybe not both ... The Order 66 and Holocron 2.0 podcasts for some time, you sound like a gang I might actually associate with. Plus, I am in a really small guild on another server which makes playing with guildies somewhat difficult.

2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies?
I like to work on crafting in MMOs in general. I've also played several MMOs and have some skill at actually being useful in groups.

3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.
I'm a casual player. I haven't played on an RP server and thought I'd give that a go. As for hard cor playing and even PVP, they really don't do it for me. I'd much rather hang out with friends playing a relaxing game.

4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that?
I've done that. I'm not really interested this go around. I don't mind assisting with events once in a while though.

5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each.
Most of my guild experience has been with relatively small guilds. I haven't had to put up with the drama I've heard happens in larger guilds. For a long time that's why I stayed away from guilds entirely but recent experience has changed my mind.

6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you.
I'm just your average gamer geek. Been playing roleplaying games (the tabletop variety) since my first blue box (yeah, I bought them out of order when I was a kid). Lately the world of game podcasts has gotten me back into roleplaying whenever I get the chance. I also make sure I do at least Origins or GenCon each year. This year it will be both. The remainder of my offline life is taken up with IT work and keeping up a house. Pretty boring stuff.

7. And finally, finally, what is the name, if any, of the Character you would like to have in the guild?
Today I just created a trooper named Kidu on your server. I'm also an alt-aholic. In no time I will have more characters sprouting from nowhere.

Victor

I can be found on Google+ (Victor Wyatt) most of the time anymore. I have been known to frequent Twitter as @vjwyatt.

Hmm... apparently I didn't do this before go-live. Oh well.

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66?
d20 is my home for Star Wars, so why would I want to be anywhere else?

2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies?
I have experience with a lot of games, willing to try new things, love to problem solve and tend to have a horde of characters. This of course means that I am always willing and ready to group up at almost any level of play. I have a menagerie of technical skills that can be useful in the off-game world.

3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.
All of the above? I normally play casual, but I've been in hardcore raiding guilds or in games focused on PvP. In general, I just enjoy playing games and tend to adapt to having fun to those around me. I will likely play this game casually as I have too many RL commitments to ignore.

4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that?
Nope. I know how much time something like that takes and I know I don't have the time to give it my 100%.

5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each.
I have been in a number of different guilds, usually with a different game for each one. My worst guild experience was getting personally exhausted with doing hardcore raiding, as there were about 4 raid nights per week. While fun, it does wear upon the mind. Some of the best times I had was when I was running a guild in the game Guild Wars. We would have a ton of fun exploring the world beyond where quest areas were, getting PvP groups together and enjoying the game to its fullist.

6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you.
Mid-twenties member of Gamer Nation who has been a Star Wars fan for almost as long as I can remember. I am a software engineer by trade and a historian by nature. I enjoy games. Board games, card games, trading card games and computer games. I will try any game at least once (even Monopoly Brian). I love learning new things and teaching others what I've learned.

7. And finally, finally, what is the name, if any, of the Character you would like to have in the guild?
Shigure (Jedi Shadow) will be my main. I'm going to experiment with other classes as well to see what I would like to make my secondary alt.

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66?
I want to join an active guild that like to work together and help other ppl in the guild.

2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies?
IDK. I just like to heal and help out where I can.

3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.
Casual. I play with my husband, and I usually heal.

4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that?
No

5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each.
This last guild has been my worst. We all know each other and had set up the guild before the launch of SWTOR, but since the launch there has maybe been one other player one is no guild chat, no one to run flashpoints with, or other lower lvls to help out.

Best, idk. Just a decently large and active guild that like to work and chat together.

6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you.
Have been married 6 years, and have been playing MMOs just as long.

7. And finally, finally, what is the name, if any, of the Character you would like to have in the guild?
Abigale

1. I am open to joining a guild after many years because of some physical changes (more on this later) and I like Star Wars and particularly the gunfighter--so I am interested in developing him.

2. I am loyal, a good communicator, mature (at my age you better be), enjoy the game.

3. I will like raiding, ops and role playing. I can't do physically "hard core" or advanced raids.

4. This question seemed...strange...to me as I have not even become a member and it depends on if I like the guild and the guild likes me. I think I will PROBABLY like the guild (or I wouldn't apply) and I think the guild will PROBABLY like me; but there is enough doubt in probably that this is a question best answered later. Having said that, I am retired so I have time (which is usually a big issue for leadership, it takes a lot of time), and as I said a good communicator, loyal and mature which usually helps in leadership (it probably helps in more things than being in a guild).

5. I was in a guild in Everquest, even an officer in that guild. We disbanded and joined what we would call a "hard core" raiding group to do content we could not master. This guild I didn't really enjoy as the focus went off the relationships that I had enjoyed and got into content I couldn't do.

I couldn't do the content because I am old and do not have the reflexes of a 16 year old; but more critically I had a stroke at that time. I have gotten much better since but it is still a factor. For example, I have an assassin that I have done heroics and flashpoints with my sons and when it gets really wild the assassin is right in the scrum and I get confused and just strike out randomly and stop enjoying it. The sniper is another thing. Here I can just find cover, set up and go through my rotation and pick them off--I am good at that and feel I have something to offer the group.

My oldest son (who I said I have been doing heroics and flashpoints) says I am good enough to do lower level dungeons and he was a raid leader in WOW so I think he knows.

6. I am (as I said) retired, married, have two boys who have left home and one is a professor at USC. I am an old hippie that has enjoyed games all his life, remember when we first played Pong.

7. Silkk (Silk was taken--Silk is the name of a main character in a Raymond Feist novel)

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66?

Shanora wants me in the guild.

2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies?

I'm usually very nice.

3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.

I've done all of the above in various other MORGs. But, in order to lead a balanced life, I try to keep my playstyle to be casual. Sometimes I fail.

4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that?

Nope. The quickest way to get me to leave the guild is make me an officer. I do not want that responsibility. Herding cats is not something I enjoy.

5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each.

The best guild experience I had was in EverQuest. We were clearly understaffed for a raid on the plane of sky, but we went anyway. We had a marvoulous time, and almost killed one of the bosses that was out of our league.

The worst is when people in the guild are greedy and they harbor resentment because they didn't get something that they thought the dserved. That has happened in lots of guilds I've been in.

6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you.

My character that is in the guild already is named Kaa. He's a Scoundrel. He's currently level 27. Also, poverty sucks, so, I've been concentrating on making money lately. Along those lines, I now have Artifice and Archeology at level 400. My non-guild character has 400 in Cybertech and Salvaging.

7. And finally, finally, what is the name, if any, of the Character you would like to have in the guild?

I'm going to leave my Jedi Guardian out of the guild at this time. He and Gelseen (Shanora's alt) are happily duoing and in Taris right now at level 22. I find that when I'm playing him, I completely ignore the chat window, cause I'm talking to Shanora on Skype.

My name in Real Life is Clair, and I am male.

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66?

It's no secret that playership has fallen off in the past few months and as such, the guild I am in has suffered more than most (the GM is AWOL). As such, my wife and I end up pugging a lot and I often find myself with your guild members (Zo'e was the latest but there have been many others). I find the membership helpful, friendly and active and we'd (the wife and I) would love to be a part of it all.

2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies?

Beyond my mad organizational skills, I am very helpful, have a wicked sense of humour and vast knowledge of the most trivial things. In other words, I can keep things light and friendly even when things get stressful.

3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.

I am on daily and always looking for more to do, be it hunting world bosses or helping people grind dailies. We would prefer to be doing such with other guildies as we are very social creatures... We were semi-hardcore raiders in The Game The Shall Not Be Named but have a more casual play schedule these days.

4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that?

I've been a GM, a Recruitment Officer and a Raid Leader... I'd like to just be able to log in and play (I am, of course, always willing to help out the officer ranks with needed skills such as organization, marketing, etc.)

5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each.

Ah, well I was in a few guilds in That Other Game over the course of 8 years (I don't guild-hop so I stuck it out through thick and thin). The best would have been a very active time in "Vanilla" days when a group of guildies and we were breaking into new and unexplored territories and working out ways to complete quests. The epic quest for the Shaman helm in Strat was ...epic.

The worst, well we had a guild die from under us... promises from the GM that they (a couple) were only taking a break (turned out to be a permanent one). Very depressing to see all our "friends" leave while we tried to hold the fort (got better when we finally left and were immediately picked up but another guild with a few of our previous guildies).

6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you.

We're a couple who are older than the average (I'm guessing) MMO player. We live in a very rural area of British Columbia and have two young kids. I'm a working professional (IT) with the ability to schedule myself around my work while my wife is a firefighter who cannot (she can occasionally be called away for an emergency).

We enjoy our lives and enjoy playing, laughing, activities and even gaming with others from other places and with other backgrounds to "spice up" the journey of life. We're pretty easy going (oh, and the wife speaks fluent French).

7. And finally, finally, what is the name, if any, of the Character you would like to have in the guild?

Kal-Dur (my main character - Jedi Guardian presently DPS spec but with Tionese tanking gear). Any others would be subject to guild needs but I'd guess Jay'den (Vanguard) would be the other at this time.

Keya-fay (my wife's main - Jedi Counselor Sage healer spec all the way - it's her forte).

Anyway, thanks for the opportunity and I'll check back.

- Chas

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66?
I want to do more Flashpoints and Operations, which is difficult to do without a guild. As to why specifically The Order of 66, you guys seem like a good group.

2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies?
Well I think I’m a good DPS, for what that’s worth, and I have a fair amount of time on my hands.

3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.
I’ve only done single player, but i would like to try out raiding. Also while I’ve never RPed on the net, I am a fan of RP tabletop games.

4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that?
Not in the foreseeable future, no.

5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each.
I have never been a guild before.

6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you.
I am a video game enthusiast and an aspiring game designer. I’m graduating from high school in a few weeks, after which, with any luck, I’ll get an internship with THQ, followed by an enrollment in Digipen. I generally like to crack jokes, but am still learning how to do it well though writing. I’m also a slow typer, so it may seem as if I’m the quiet type.

7. And finally, finally, what is the name, if any, of the Character you would like to have in the guild?
Zion, my main, and maybe later Ritchard.

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66?
Just turned level 50 and the guild i was apart of is no longer, only 3 people are still active and I am having a hard time progressing any further by myself. Was told that this was a good guild to join and it is quite active in terms of membership and runsl

2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies?
As far as playing skills I am a amature on MMO's, I read what i can and try to understand the vast game that SWTOR is to the best i can, I am a quick learner, and besides playing skills i bring a easy drama free attitude to playing, and am always willing to help fellow guildies and gamers if i can.

3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.
I am a casual RP that is on the border of the hard core raiding, i guess be easier to say im trying to find my way there but i enjoy a less stressful game experiance and like to have fun.

4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that?
In time maybe, but now no there is much for this padawan still to learn, but i would be willing to help in any manor i can if asked.

5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each.
Well i played WOW for a year and was active in the guild i was apart of. Left WOW after deciding that the guild i was with just wasnt fun anymore, and tired of just hearing people whine about others, Its a game and people tend i think to forget that. Good experiances i would say are all the fun conversations we would have on ventrillo and at times just enjoy raiding with each other. As far as swtor i have not had a lot of interaction with my guild, i was lvling when there was a majority of players on, now that i am a lvl 50 most have become inactive, so i am left to fend for myself for the most part.

6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you.
I am 28 yo Male, from Fresno, California. In the army reserves and just got back from a tour in Afghanistan, which would have totaled 4 years overseas out of the 6 i have been apart of the Army. I am A Radiology Tech, and have been accepted to join the US Marshalls, so that will take some of my free time away. I am a joker and usually sarcastic, easy going, and just want to have fun and the people around me to enjoy themselves as well.
7. And finally, finally, what is the name, if any, of the Character you would like to have in the guild?

Escarpment-DPS jedi knight
