Great show guys. I hope Dave's wife has recovered well. I liked the idea of the wardens of the sky, and if I get a chance to run Dawn of Defiance I will probably Sirone OKeefe a Warden of the Sky to add another Force Using mentor to the party.

Loving the episode so far. Still got a little bit of time left on it, but I'm struck by a couple of things.
First of all, the idea of a Warden of the Sky being more of a light side idea. While I agree with the basic idea here, I can easily see a Warden falling to the darkness. Look at the concept behind the tradition: The Masterless Man. While we're traditionally inundated with the idea of Clint Eastwood or Toshiro Mifune coming into town, cleaning up the corruption and then riding off into the sunrise, I can also see darker approaches taken to such a character.
How many times in fiction do we have a hard-boiled private investigator that are there to protect the people of their city/township from a big name in organized crime, but wind up doing downright despicable, illegal things in the name of that protection? Sure, they've maybe taken a big player in crime off of the streets, but at what cost? It's going to be easier for them to resort to such tactics the next time, even if the threat doesn't necessarily warrant that level of action.
I can easily see a Warden falling into this kind of trap and falling to the dark side because of it. He's not going to be your traditional dark sider, but he's going to take direct, possibly very violent and wrathful action to "protect" the space lanes. Hell, he may no longer care about protecting spacers anymore, but simply have warped his philosophy towards protecting space from elements that are ruining it, and suddenly you may have a Warden of the Sky who will regularly space captains of freighters smuggling goods for dumping their cargo to avoid detection.
I dunno, I think there's lots of room to explore the dark side of the Wardens. It's not going to be the traditional dark sider, but then again, the Wardens are anything if not traditional.

Another example is Roland Deschain from the Dark Tower. How many trials does he overcome without falling to the darkness, when many other gunslingers did succumb and betray the order? Garrett

Batman if he were to ever decide that his "One Rule" was no longer worth the effort.

GM Dave and Chris, I was over the moon to hear you reply to my question on the PODcast!
Brilliant job guys, especially since you gave me two types of lineage for Sith purebloods in my game!
