I'm going to have to go with Fedifensor #2 on this one.
EDIT: On second thought, JediMike's combines the spirit of Fedifensor's with a more consistent progression of names. Vote changed.

Well, if I can't choose my own...
#1: PiercedGeek (but modify it to have unique names for officer ranks.) I really, really like the name Vigilant and he's one of the only ones that kept it.
#2: DarthGM #2 (but again, I'd prefer Lorekeeper over emissary for my own rank)

JediMike's, easily. The titles make the most sense.
The only issue I see is that the best lists usually have 11 or more ranks.

FYI, I would like to retract my offering in the list. I was merely proposing a structure, the names were only place holders. As long as a different option has a similar structure I support it. I will chime in more fully later.

EDIT:
Upon further reflection I an leaning strongly towards Fedifensor #2. However JediMike and GreenLoontern also have some good stuff. So any of those three, but I think the Fedifensor's terms are slightly more in line with my preferences.

Although they all have their good merits if I had to knock it down to two choices I would pick, Fedifensor #2 and bd09 #1. The first one just works well and the 2nd one has the effect of freaking everyone out because it's Latin.  _________________
