How many people are planning on making a healer for the guild?

I imagine one of my eight characters will be a healer, but it's low on my priority list. (Healing is my least favorite of the traditional 3 MMO roles.)

I agree with you there, never been much of a healer type either. I was just curious if we where going to have a few around if we needed one! lol

I was planning on doing a healer, for a number of reasons. I always loved playing them in the RPG. But someone might want to sit me down, so to speak, & tell me how to use them in an MMO. When I played WoW, I didn't do much playing in a group, you see.

I intend to play my Smuggler as a healer, dispensing dirty kicks and medpacs with equal aplomb. Attractive lady toons will get priority.

I'll be playing a Shadow for release but my first alt will most likely be a Commando Combat Medic. The whole idea of healing while being heavily armored and firing a tank cannon is just too much. Plus, the look of the Commando heals are great.

My main is going to be a healing Sage, so I've got you all covered whenever you need to be patched up.

I would just like to remind everyone that having healing powers in your Advanced Class does not make you a healer - you have to spec for it. My Jedi Sage plans to be DPS, and anyone expecting me to be their main healer is setting themselves up for disappointment.

I'll be doing a Jedi Sage as my main, but I don't expect to be heal spec'd. Honeslty, I'm no good at healing. I've tried it before in various other MMOs and I just don't do well. Heck, I barely remember to heal myself let alone anyone else.

Honestly I am playing a Trooper to play a tank (as I haven't done too much of that). If my attempts to tank are lacking I may attempt to go Commando/Medic. But I have been a healer for several MMOs and this game is my attempt to try to do something different.

Ogehn, I'll volunteer to help yah learn tanking... <draws his pistol and thermal gernade> and winks.... it worked well for Fiddleback... I only had to run for my life a couple of times... now? no worries mate.

That's why I don't plan on even playing an Advanced Class that has a healing tree. That way no one gets the slightest impression that I'm gonna bother healing their asses. Also, the non-healing ACs have the weapon choices that I want, whether it's a double-bladed lightsaber, a sniper rifle, a second pistol or not having an assault cannon (I don't really care for them).
