((Ok so now I'm guessing but maybe we don't have any problems with rpg'ing so we got relagated to the back burner then completely off the stove. And frankly as someone who was mostly doing this to make sure there weren't some unspoke rules to mmos i would say for those of us that participated we pretty much understand role playing if not spelling. There doesn't seem too much difference from actual role playing, just dont be yourself be instead your other self {unless your roleplaying you [Ive got those players too] if so then carry on my wayward son}. So I would just like to say thanks to every body whom carried on nonsencically (is that even a word) with me, i thuroughly enjoied it. To TJ and Fiddleback specifically you guys are part of the foundation of the gamernation and I salute you. May the force be with you. See you in digital starwars land.)) The other GM Dave

((This is more or less the case. I can't even really tell you guys "I've been too busy to keep up with this the whole time," because that would be a lie. I've just utterly lost track of my direction and motivation to continue on here. I know that doesn't reflect favorably on me as a guild officer, and you guys deserve much better out of me.

I guess at the end of the day, I got bogged down trying to put together an interesting story, and then I realized I'd inadvertently stumbled into running a play-by-post game that I wasn't totally prepared to commit to.

But this is about RP, after all. And I'm more than willing to commit to RPing and giving you guys pointers on where you could improve, etc. What do you think? Something with more of a social focus, and maybe mystery elements? It's the action elements I really got hung up on, so I think if we pull those for the time being, and give you guys more freedom to go about your RP without my go-ahead, that might run more smoothly.

This doesn't mean that there won't be cool, action-packed storylines going on once the game actually launches. I can assure you, plans are in place. So many plans. And when I actually have the game in front of me, it will be a very different story.))

((Not at all, FB. This one's all on me as far as the hold-up. It was the structure of the RP that was the problem, not anyone's character. A guy like Pendle can be a great way to interject humor at the right place and time.))

Before you go blaming yourself TJ, remember that none of us exactly picked up the ball and ran with it either. I'm sure there is a large pool of RPing experience here that could have done something. In hindsight, perhaps that what we should have done. It's not up to the GM to totally control a good story. Good players help tell a story as much as a GM.

Nice point cy... anyone of us could've "picked up the ball" and ran with it here... can't wait for what TJ's been working on for launch once the game goes live though!

Yeah, I still feel like I have to take most of this on myself. I set up the story so it seemed a lot like a typical Saga game. I should have just done something along the lines of "You all meet in a cantina."
