Reiner Remarque
Human Highwayman (former Roadwarden)

born the son of a Bretonian immigrant working as a farrier in Ubersreik, Reiner has been around horses all his life. As a skilled rider and competent fighter he was recruited into the local road wardens and served for many years with distinction, rising to to the rank of chief warden for the whole region.
No one , aside form Reiner himself, knows what turned him to a path of crime. Some say he was seduced by the easy money he could earn, others claim it was to punish the local lord who's son was exonerated of assaulting Reiner's sister, some even claim he has fallen in leauge with some evil power. What is known however is of all the many Highwaymen that have stalked the local roads over the years Reiner is by far the most successful.
Using his extensive knowledge of the local area Reiner has been able to attack coaches and caravans seemingly at will before disappearing back into the countryside. Local Wardens have been completely unable to locate him or even how he is fencing his stolen goods, leading may to claim that he is in fact stockpiling a huge cache of wealth somewhere nearby for some unknown purpose.

Reiner makes an interesting opponent for a group of 1st career characters or possibly an ally for those of a more criminal nature

This was an excellent part of the show. I was thinking that what would also be great (and useful for all 3 editions, as there would be no stats) is something similar, but with locations. Perfect for adventure seeds. Nothing too big (i.e. you guys already covered the major cities), but something like a college of magic, a university, or even a notorious tavern etc.

Ashric Wilhmson
Dwarf Engineer (former Tradesman)

Ashric was once a promising young engineer living in the city of Nuln until an encounter with the Undead changed him forever, Ashric and some of his friends where travelling in the foothills of the grey mountains when they discovered what appeared to be an ancient book. As it turned out the book was a copy of the Book of the Dead and was soon sought out by a powerful necromancer. In the ensuing battle with the evil dead all of Ashrics friends where killed and Ashric himself was forced to hack off his own hand to prevent the spread of the corruption following a bite from a zombie, however both the book and the necromancer where destroyed. The experience greatly affected Ashric however and since that day he has dedicated the rest of his life to hunting down and destroying the Undead in all there forms. To this end he has built himself a steam powerd chainsaw that he has strapped it to the stump on his right arm giving Ashric powerful weapon in his fight against the Armys of Darkness.

Ashric would make a great ally to a group of players who are battling the Undead or would just be a fun character to run into especially for fans of a certain film series. GROOVY !

Samuel Grapevine
Halfling Crime Lord (former Rouge, Charlatan and Politician)

Growing up in the ghettos of Nuln was not an easy life for Samuel however as he is fond of saying a gold piece surfaces from the filth once in a while. His quick wits and guile made him the ideal candidate for Nulns political scene however Samuel fast found that he could be far more successful as a broker of information and secrets. You see all these wealthy nobles had secrets and also all these noble had halfling servants who Samuel could turn into his little eyes and ears, but most of all these noble had enemy’s who would pay handsomely for dirt on there rivals. Samuels organisation has grown so large and well known that the term Heard it on the Grapevine has entered common use in Nuln.
