We've received inquiries as to when we are going to start reviewing the Kingmaker AP. Obviously, we are going to review Kingmaker. However, in order to get more out of our own experiences that we can input into our reviews of the AP, we need to continue with the current Kingmaker campaigns underway among some of the hosts of the podcast before we get to Kingmaker on the podcast. There is one Kingmaker campaign underway in Toronto by one of the hosts of the podcast and another underway in the Bay area and via Skype for another. If you are curious as to what Azmyth's Kingmaker campaign is like, there is a webpage open where each of the sessions are summarized and the website is otherwise used by the players and GM to update the campaign. The link to the page is http://sites.google.com/site/azmythkingmaker/.

Break on through, to the other side!
Last night (and into the early morning) we completed the first book of the King Maker Adventure path! Dedicated episode in the queue.
As always, don't ruin your (potential) play in this AP by reading about ours. If you're a GM currently running or considering it, check it out!

Yeah - The day sure as hell became the night. 'Twas a 3:00 a.m. conclusion (in the EST time zone) for last night's Kingmaker: Stolen Lands Smackdown Extravaganza. The Skree got some Ink done and pulled through in the clutch. Shame that the Holy Halfling got weak in the knees as the Psychological Warfare Operations just got into swing. *sigh* Not unexpected though. (Kids today -- always in such a damned rush!) Just an old man left to deal with and a body that needs dumping into a river. The Red Wizard always honours his bargains... How many Resource Points was it to build Isengard out of Red Granite? I feel the need for new digs

Microsoft Paint and Patience.
I keep this one updated each week as my group builds new structures. I have a master image of all the building types and I just cut n paste into the jpg and save as new.
I've been told that I'd be dangerous if I ever learned photoshop-gimp...

Hey Mr. GM:
Is Bre-Tak able to take a level in Sorceror? And is it possible in dealing with the Red Wizard at the Tower this past year and a half, that he has acquired 1 rank in Knowledge (Aracana) already?
One level in sorceror would open up the Dragon Disciple Prestige Class (D12!) to Bre-Tak. In the circumstances, it actually makes a lot of sense for him to do this. Moreover, Dragon Disciple Kobolds are totally iconic for this prestige class.
Note to listeners: The ability to have fun with creating /statting out NPC's and suggesting class training for followers is one of the cool aspects of Kingdom Management in Kingmaker. Bre-Tak is an advanced, medium sized black & grey scaled Kobold. (Yes, he's a really Big-Ass Kobold)
He is, in the Kobold pecking order, so far above Clan Chief that he gets his own "demi-god/Hero" social status among the Kobold Tribes of the Greenbelt. He is also the faithful bodyguard of a certain neutral Wizard (the Magister of Ceros, played by yours truly) who bribes Bre-Tak shamelessly for his loyal service. Bre-Tak atually has a position on the Small Council and is the Royal Assassin/Headsman of the Barony of Ceros (the name of our Kingdom in Kingmaker).
Funny enough, Bre-Tak's reputation amongst the commoner of Ceros is achieving almost legendary status. He is looked up to as somebody with super-powers and as an honourable - but fierce - Dragonman; a role model even, for some of the common folk.
Kobolds Rock!

I think that was among the common kobolds, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a small following of Bre-Tak in Ceros itself. Then again, multi-racial integration is pretty far up there on Quel's priority list.
