Not an application per se, but rather a diplomatic "Ahoy!" from another fleet, with the hopes of establishing a proper relationship and channels of communication
Aurora Fleet is over a year old, a large, stable, and active group of mature, helpful and very friendly players. We have about 30-40 active captains, with regular group PvE content runs, and a growing presence in the competitive PvP community. As you can see from our web site at
http://www.aurorafleet.com, we're very RP-friendly, with an internal rank system and organisational chain of command, and we also occassionally have been known to run the odd RP event, usually internal but sometimes with allied fleets. However, it'd probably be fair to call us an "RP light" fleet up until now.
However, perhaps it's time for us to step that up, and in the same way we're taking strides to establish ourselves in the PvP community, we should endeavour to do the same in the RP community. Myself and a fleetmate did some RP on DS9 the other night for the first time as a little experiment, and after interacting with a couple of members of your fleet, were thoroughly impressed and had a great time.
Thus, seeing that 66th Fleet is an established, friendly, and very high quality RP fleet, I think it would be lovely if we could create a more formal, closer alliance and pact of co-operation and mutual support. We'd love to be able to RP with you more and on a larger scale, and in return we'd love to have you along with us and our other allies for joint PvE and PvP excursions (we have a shared alliance channel with Vulcan Kolihnar Fleet, Synergy, Task Force Delta, and a couple of others where people often recruit for mixed pickups for dailies and PvP, as well as more organised STF runs and PvP friendlies/training). And generally, it would be great to have more RP flavour in everything we do; I suspect 66th Fleet might help inspire us in that regard ;-)
