I am actually planning an engagement on a Colossal (Cruiser) sized mining ship called the "Red Dwarf" at the moment. The PCs will be hitching a ride on the Red Dwarf to get away from Coruscant when it gets attacked and boarded by pirates in a transport/gunship called "Flash Gungan". The pirate ship will have a reputation around that area of space which will allow the Commander to say to the Pilot, "What do you mean, 'Flash Gungan approaching'". With a tip of my hat to Queen and the excellent 1980s version of the movie, Flash Gordon.

In the Legacy Era campaign I'm GMing, one of the PCs started with a retrofitted, old-school YT-2400 named the Sunset Zephyr.
After that was destroyed in the Sith's bombardment of the local spaceport (by the ISD Lawbringer), the ship was replaced by a YX-1980 transport named the Second Chance.
Interestingly enough, the ship was already named that by its previous owner.

For my group, we have the "Banshee's Kiss," a tweaked YT-2400, which was named as a nod towards the owner's aunt, Sirona Okeefe.
