Thanks for that BD. At least they say "We’ve spent quite a bit of time discussing how to ensure that crafters – true dedicated crafters – can make a name for themselves and be important in their community" so maybe there is hope for crafters after all.

I wonder how long permanent advanced classes will last. Although I won't mind but I'm sure some players will change their minds by the time they reach the lvl cap.

Well, I wouldn't mind perma-locked advanced classes, if there was a mechanic like you had in CO, where you could test out the power/build before you had to commit to it. My biggist fear is that it will be like WoW where their was only one build for each class and if you did not have that build then you were SOL for grouping/raiding. OpiumCy, as to Crafting, the lastest quote is from E3 where they said it was going to be just like WoW, so, I am willing to wait until they come out and say for certain one way another as to what they are planning on doing with that aspect of the game. Also, note that they are still not saying if there will be RP servers or not, just PvE and PvP servers. I hope that it is not going to be like AoC where the choices were PvP, RP-PvP, PvE and the PvE server that the RP community had to take over to can call it the "unofficial RP server". I had to laugh that as the "Unofficial RP server" it had the largest population of the PvE servers and all of them got merged in to later.

They actually have fixed that almost completely in WoW for what it's worth. Believe me, Ret Pally since '04 (Death Before Respec! ). By the way, I think this thread probably deserves a sticky here as well- pretty much everything we know about the game in one place.

Hey, good idea, let's hope a passing blue or purple named person swings by to do that.

Yeah, a week ago I'd have done it. Strange thing is, as a guild officer I still have mod privileges in the TOR/Oo66 forums, but apparently that doesn't extend to letting me sticky stuff. *shrug*

It seems to fit rather well in the SW Universe Having ignorant people on a backwater planet call a Jedi a wizard is one thing. Having a type of Jedi refer to themselves with such a term sounds perfectly ridiculous in my opinion.
