Julie Hoverson joins us from 19 Nocturne Boulevard this week as we talk about traps, tricks, and ten foot poles.

Jim & Debbie from Gamers Rule show us The Ultimate Unofficial Collector’s Guide to AD&D, and we smash Nick’s monster to bits in the Creature Feature Theater.

Jayson's note * Also, a dumb thing I did – we mention the new book from Jack Vance in this show, and get the title wrong. Also, while Jack Vance is indeed still active, this is not a new book, but a collection of previously published work. Sorry for the mistake.

This was a great episode guys. Finally got a chance to listen to it earlier in the week.

Julie was an absolute riot to listen to. I hope you can get her back on the show at some point.

The discussion on traps being a universal tool for any game you're playing it a great thing to keep in mind for any DM/GM/ST/whatever the system calls the man behind the screen, and sadly, something that gets forgotten about many times. It's something I know I usually don't think about, but it's definitely something I'm going to work to try and fix in my upcoming Star Wars game. What better place to have traps but in some ancient Sith Lord's tomb?

And every once in a while, I am reminded why this is the best forum community on the Internet.

Thank. Julie is fun. We will have her back.

Traps in a sith's tomb, perfect idea!

Yeah Julie rocked! Gamer grrls need more voices in the RPG world!

Also as Im in NYC I'd be totally down for a low-tech Con. Maybe even try me hand at running a con game or two. Im sure those in me playing groups would also be interested. Looking forward to hearing more on that.
