After being completely disappointed by the top two tiers of the Saboteur tree I recently decided to go with a Hybrid build that maximizes my love of Explosions while improving the DPS output of regular shots.http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#700dsrbbMoZbIbbRRbR.1
I've found that this build gives me both the DPS output I desire, plenty of energy and lots of mobility.
This gives me 3 DOTs(sabo charge, vital shot, and shock charge) I can throw on a target right before I move + giving me a charged shot I can use on the go to a new position to set up from.This is my general rotation for Single Target
(after letting the tank have the mob/boss for a count of 3)
Trinket(for Surge and Crit)
Charged BlastRotation for AOE
Vital shot all targets
I do find that with spec I need to take routine breaks in my single target rotation to keep from pull from the tanks I'm running with. But this is pretty easy.. burns a GCD and throw Distraction at a target... makes the tank/healer's life a little easier and lets me reduce my aggro a little bit.. so I see it as a double win.
Anyways... I see it as a good mixture.
Just wish the top 2 tiers of Saboteur were more useful... right now the tank has to very little wiggle room they have to get all the mobs in one area and never move from a very small area.
