Those of you with beta access as of this evening, I'll be hosting an informal Cantina-style meetup tonight so we can try out some actual in-game RP, and newbies can get a sense of how this works! Sorry for the short notice, but hopefully I can see how this goes and be better able to plan these kinds of events after launch.

TIME: 8 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. CST, drop by whenever!
LOCATION: Senate Commercial District, Coruscant. PM Dassikk (the RP character I created specifically for the event) if you need directions.
NOTE: Since there are no RP servers in beta, we can't expect people to abide by the general RP rules of decorum (no OOC in /say, etc.), so just come with a relaxed attitude and prepared for interruptions.

Annnnd..... fail.

So I wasn't expecting much given the short notice and small pool of testers as opposed to last weekend (when I was far too busy to try anything like this), but the event was basically a no-go. Not to worry, however, as I fully intend to reschedule our first-ever Guild Cantina Night to December 16th, just 14 days away! The first event for non-early-access folks will probably be sometime around Friday, January 6th.

What time would you expect this to happen on the 16th? I'd like to stop in, but if it were 8pm CST be 2am for me and I'm not used to all nighters like I used to be!

How many Europeans are in the guild? Would it be worth co-ordinating some prime-time events for us? I'd be happy to get involved with any organisational stuff.

I could possibly push it back to 6 on some nights, but with my schedule, 8 is probably going to be the standard event start time for most events. I'd be glad to help you guys put together events at times that work better for you, though, even if I can't attend personally.

It'd depend on interest obviously, but if enough people are interested, it might be interesting to run parallel euro time events, especially for any story driven RP events in game.

I must admit I'm catching up on back episodes of the podcast, but there were certainly plans for in game RP stories at some point so it would be nice to make them as accessible as possible to everyone who wants to take part.
