Hey gang,
Just a quick post to let everyone know that Season 6 of Star Trek Online just released and that the 66th Fleet (and the Gorn Resistance) is still (semi) active. The game is free to play now as well, and A LOT has changed. Feel free to swing by and check it out. We are also now building our own Starbase and could use help.
Hope to see some of you on-line.

And if you happen to be a lifer, like me, and haven't played since it went Free To Play, you can just about afford the entire Oddessy Starship pack with the Zen you've accumulated. I wish I knew I couldn't use both the Cheveron Separation and the Aquarius Escort Launch at the same time. Wow, I am totally jelous. I spend my "Zen" (formerly Cryptic Points) as fast as I get them.
Of course, I have most of the +1 ships fed side now.

Got that already.  Just need Chiang to finish getting to VA to fly it. I wish I had the Defiant refit with the cloak also. Those are the two ships she is most likely to fly. However, the regular Defiant is not too bad even for a VA. Maybe I can get something better from the Fleet Shipyard once it is built. I really want that new Catian carrier fed side however. May have to buy some more Zen next sale. Thanks, Duncan

Just mentioning the Defiant class makes me want to play. If you couldn't guess, DS9 was my favorite series.

Played it for a few hours tonight. Space battles are a blast. Away team missions... well it is good that they don't last long so far.

Have you tried shooter mode for Away team missions? That makes it a lot more interesting. Hit B to switch between shooter controls and standard MMO modes.

Gosh, I'd love to stop by in the Trek universe occasionally.
However, when I logged in Friday to check in, I discovered all my characters were gone.
I'm not even going to bother.
