Hi folks. I posted a suggestion on the official forums' suggestion box section.

http://www.swtor.com/community/showthre ... ost3305368

I would appreciate it if you would read the post and leave a comment on the thread. Support it, offer a revision, whatever.

Anyone else getting this error when you click on the link?

"Perrian, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

I get it now too. Just do an advanced search on the TOR forums and look for guild bank in the title only. The thread title starts with "Dear Bioware."

I'll check from home later. When I click the link from my phone, I keep getting redirected to the Deutsch language site.

Okay. And here I was thinking that a Guild bank was going to be like a Cargo Bay the whole guild can access. The management of it sounds like a nightmare with all these restrictions.

Its more like a single setup Darthhulu.. if its set up right the first time no problems...

Though one thing that needs to be considered.. is proper setup prevents hackers from ripping off the entire guild... been there.. done that.. do not wish for the Order to deal with it.

A theft in EVE online made it to BBC news

So yea, guild security is important. In EVE corporate (guild) espionage is considered a valid playstyle though.

Caylen, I posted a reply on the Bioware boards regarding your suggestion.

Additionally, is there a O66 guild requirement for guildbank operators to have an authenticator tied to their account?

I've been a part of a number of MMO games and guilds. Extra security is always nice and creates a layer of protection against the sundered relationships caused by hacked accounts.

We need to know more specifics about the banks before we can answer that Stark.

Right now we only have the general information they have give us... which isn't enough to go on...

I can say with a fair bit of certainty that anyone who gets access to the better stuff and/or credits will be required to have an authenticator. No inside knowledge, but not doing so for a guild as large as ours is counter-intuitive.

The ability to control all of that is already there, so I don't see why we wouldn't use it.
