(via Reddit) Honestly, I had no clue the Inquisitor was so popular.

All four of my republic characters match the four lesser chosen ACs of each class. I didn't expect that at all with Knight and Consular...
I'm REALLY surprised to see Sentinel over Sage though.

Does anyone think that they'll add some type of incentive to play the less popular classes?

In most MMO class popularity comes down to play style... so to make say the Scoundrel more popular would require a signficant change to the class... something they are not likely to do lightly.
Though I find it funny that the Class that the Devs themselves say is one of the most awesome healers is dead last.

I honestly really liked the smuggler opening storyline.
After the event involving your ship, I was saying; "I AM GOING TO SHOOT THAT MOTHER@#$%*! IN THE FACE! ...IN THE FACE!"
I initially had trouble reconciling the smuggler playstyle. But, I'm considering rerolling a scoundrel just to finish out the first chapter and build a healer for the guild.

Amusing, back when I ran Haka through all of the Heroics on Balmorra, I must have had the rarest grouping of Powertech/Powertech/Sniper/Sniper possible. That said, I see Inquisitor's all over the place.

I'm not shocked at all that Scoundrel is dead last. Scoundrel/Operative is definitely my least favorite of the 8 playstyles, by a pretty wide margin.

So how does that match up against what people in the guild normally play? Is O66 an odd duck?

The energy and positioning mechanics are annoying, and the focus on melee range for a character who only uses guns is just weird. The Operative may be the mirror, but at least it makes sense - sniper rifle for long range, vibroknife for close range.

Wow...my main's class ties with scoundrel with least played class? And my wife plays scoundrel as her main? did not see that coming. Wonder what that says about us? Granted, I think most people view vanguard as a tank class and many people hate that spec.

And what do all those top 4 classes have in common?
Bad Guy DPS lines.
Everyone wants to be a bad-ass Sith who electrocutes you, or uses a Double-bladed lightsaber like Darth Maul, or fights with two lightsabers, or looks like a Fett.
"Everyone" being the masses.
And I'd be more curious to see what the breakdown is for RP Servers. Betting it's not the same.

Based on this, I think my next main character will be a scoundrel after I get Ookla to 50.

I will assume that the overall bias is toward the PvP servers. Also, I will assume that players on PvP servers just spacebar their way through the storyline, so it really has no effect on the class bias.
