You will get there.. I have no doubt Karil.
I for one just get VERY focused on my mechanics (DPS or Heals). You would probably laugh at me if you watched me DPS.. cause I really don't look at my monitor above the button bars during a fight, I'm totally heads down devoted to my rotation. Only exceptions to that is SOA since its more about mechanics than pure DPS burn. I'm sure once we get into hard modes I'll probably have a higher than average death rate.
Everyone is going to be different based on their play style. So don't worry about it. Once we see Aral's and Raymonts DPS #s we can figure out what we need to do AS A GROUP to beat the Hard Mode Timers.

I know it's not their focus, but any damage contributes towards dropping a boss..

On the Operations dummy I get about 425 DPS. Knight get a lot of stuff that procs upon getting hit, so I would imagine in-combat DPS might be a little bit higher.

Yah Alpha and I talked about this over the weekend.. most tanks require getting hit to use their bigger attacks.. so the dummies aren't nearly as useful if giving us a number to compare again.
We will all just have to run meters tonight and see how it looks in a real fight.. I suspect we will all be surprised how we look.

Wrap up for 16 April:
We did it! We did it! We did it! We finally killed Soa!!!!!!!!!!!!
And we managed to do the whole thing in only one attempt with only a couple of deaths during Soa's phase 3. Both Karil and Renza got Columi chests and Alpha got 2 JK lightsabers.
We then attempted the droid in Hard Mode as we have for the past several weeks and had a little trouble with the turrets, but the droid itself still gave us problems but we managed to take him down.
Gisben and Raymont got the first pieces of Rakata gear, with Zeece and Aral getting other items to be broken apart for mods (or to wear if they like).

So what next? Run Soa again in normal and get consistent about downing him? Always start with HM EV? What about Bonethrasher in KP? Thoughts?

My vote would be to HM EV... and if that gets too painful head for Karagga's Palace. Or if we are feeling particular cheeky poke our nose into EC.
