Now that the game is live, we are starting a new official recruiting thread. Please provide us with the information below to help us understand why you're a good fit for The Order of Sixty-Six! 1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66?
2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies?
3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.
4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that?
5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each.
6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you.
7. And finally, finally, what is the name, if any, of the Character you would like to have in the guild?
Please note we do have a 3 character per person limit currently.

I got to the old recruiting thread too late... so here's my stuff:
1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66? In my experience with the members of the D20 Network, I believe the Order of 66 will be a good fit. I don't forsee much drama in the guild, and to me, that's the most important thing. Nothing ruins a good game by drama.
2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies?
I'm excellent at healing classes. I have a tendency to play healing classes across the board. I have experience in SWG as well as LOTRO and hope to bring my knowledge from those games into this one.
3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.
I'm pretty casual. I used to play all the time and raided a lot. Now that I have a munchin, my play time has diminished. I also need breaks here and there, but I play as often as I can/desire to.
4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that?
At this time I'm not interested in a leadership position. I've done it before in LOTRO as well as SWG. I enjoy leadership, but want to keep my involvement to a minimum at this point in my life.
5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each.
I enjoyed doing PVP in SWG because of the comaraderie I felt with my fell guildmates. That was where we all pulled together and formed a cohesive unit. The same goes for LOTRO in our raiding. I thoroughly enjoyed when I raided often with my guild mates because I grew to look at them all as friends rather than just a bunch of people I played a game with.
I've had several bad experiences in MMO's, mainly with RPing and people who believe their RP style was better than someone elses. I love to RP but hate to have someone get uptight if I'm not constantly serious all the time.
My bad experiences also explain why I don't want a leadership roll. More often than not, the leadership involved drama and I couldn't stand it. I'd rather just mind my own business if drama is going to be involved. I have a toddler, that's drama enough!
6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you.
My name is Katie, I'm 32 years old. I have a 3 year old son who takes priority, despite my teasing. My hubby Aaron is well known in the D20 network (preacher23). I've been playing MMO's since about 2003/2004 and wouldn't know what to do with my time if I didn't have them. I'm currently in college to become a Mental Health Counselor. I have a year and a half to go, one year of that being my internship. So when my internship starts, my play time will be limited.
I'm a goofball and more often than not when I tease it's all in good fun. I can get really obnoxious, and I hope I don't piss anyone off. But if I do end up upsetting someone, I would hope they would approach me and speak to me like an adult about the issues.
I love to RP and will likely participate in it, either heavily or otherwise. I also have been known to verbally RP outside of the game, depending on who I'm talking to. It keeps the creative juices flowing!
Update as per Fiddlebacks request:
Character names are...
Niobe - Smuggler - In Guild Auriah - Consular - In Guild Reltara - Bounty Hunter - In Exiled Lords Andraste - Inquisitor - In Exiled Lords Narillka - Imperial Agent - Unguilded

Re-posting answers from the end of the old thread (after recruiting ended apparently) to here. Thanks.
Primary Character: Aieranda (Jedi Shadow) Secondary Character: Marsinian (Trooper)
1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66? I've pre-ordered TOR and would like to play with my fellow gamers and d20-radio/Star Wars fans. During the beta, I found I had much more enjoyment whenever I would group up with other players and all were very helpful and friendly (a credit to SW fans as has been mentioned on the podcasts).
2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies? I have several years experience playing Guild Wars and my play style is friendly. I enjoy the story aspects of these games, but also take part in challenging quests (i.e. raids, elite missions, etc...). In playing a game like Guild Wars with my friends, I learned how to play as part of a team and carry out my role on the team, usually as needed but sometimes exceeding that mandate creatively and (usually) effectively. My characters tend towards the typical builds, but usually with a twist. In Guild Wars for example, there are "accepted" builds, and I'd sometimes borrow elements of those builds, but rarely the entire build. With a few basics in place, I would lance out with my own creativity to make a character that could be just as, or more, effective than the established norms.
3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game. My play style is a bit above casual. I don't play hard core, but I do tend to play these games very regularly and try to be helpful to members of my guild or a pick up team. I tend to opt for the story and PvE elements of these games rather than PvP and would see my primary role as supporting new and experienced members as we explore the PvE side of the game, with an occasional romp in a raid. I'd probably complete the game with one class and then dabble in other classes along the way to build out a roster of characters across a decent range of levels to be able to jump in with just about any group. Usually after completing the story, I'll lean a little more towards raids and prestige titles or things like that, but will still go back to the story and try other classes. Depending on how the space combat part of the game is, I may get involved in that as well, but I didn't get that far in the demo. I'm an avid fan of the old X-wing and TIE Fighter flight sim games, so it is possible I'd get extremely drawn into that part of the game if it turns out to be good.
4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that? Not at this time. I have time enough to play for several months, but probably not enough time to be in a leadership role for an extended period of time (such as a year or more). I am willing to take on a leadership role if the guild has a need and guild leaders and I believe my play style and skill are well suited to the designated role, but my current understanding is that leadership roles are well filled already.
5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each. I've typically only been a member of small guilds with my friends, so something of this scale would be new to me, however I again think that my attitude towards just having fun in a group of players is the best part of these experiences. It's been rare that I've had a bad experience with a guild mate and it usually arises from some kind of dissatisfaction with a guild mate that is being rude or unreasonable. Even those instances tended to pass quickly as water under the bridge.
6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you. I am 34 years old and living with my girlfriend while holding down a full time job which actually has very reasonable hours. I was also one of the early moderators here at the d20 radio forums. I try to get in at least 1 or 2 pen and paper RPG sessions per month and I run a Dawn of Defiance game one night a month via Skype and Map Tool. I am a fan of d20 Radio and the Order 66 podcast who was drawn into these communities through my love of Star Wars Saga Edition. I've been GM'ing home games of Star Wars for the past 16 years across all editions, with sprinklings of playing and running D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder. I'm also an avid video game player, particularly of a sizable number of the Star Wars titles, with one of my favorite games of all time still being the original TIE Fighter and its expansion packs.

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66? Because i know some people in it. I enjoy helping others out as well
2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies? I have had several years experience (Wow and LOTRO, some SWG and FFXI, COE/COV, DCU and DDO) in MMO's and love helping people 3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game. Casual and learning the RP way as well
4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that? No
5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each. I used to lead a guild. Best is that it's always there to help you out. Issue is keeping them guild around and have someone to help (only if you need it) if you can't do the quest twice, then ask for assistance. If it is a group quest, ask once and wait for a response, don't keep on spamming for help) 6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you.
I enjoy helping others and playing games. I am a friendly guy and know some people who do some D20 radio.

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66? I have listened to the Order 66 podcast since about episode 25. I find the community around the podcast to be full of excellent people. I have mainly been a lurker on the boards, although I was a dues paying member for a time. Being a full time student, I ended up dropping my supporter status on the forums, though I hope to resume paying after the first of the year.
My current group of friends are not really playing SW:ToR. They are former WoW junkies who have sworn off of MMOs forever. They are also not really Star Wars fans. I find myself facing the prospect of solo play and it would be nice to at least have some people to game with. The D20 radio community would seem to fit that bill.
2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies? I have played my fair share of MMOs over the years. I have played City of Heroes, Final Fantasy XI, WoW, Warhammer Online, Champions Online and Star Trek Online. I am not really a take charge kind of guy but I am reasonably competent and a fast learner.
I have been playing computer games since I was about 6 years old (over thirty years) and so I am no stranger to electronic gaming. I have also been an avid role player since about 1984.
3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game. I am a casual player. To me, the story is the most important aspect of the game. I am not concerned with loot and I have been known to keep inferior items because they look cool. I am not interested in hard core raiding and I am not a MMO junkie. I enjoy finding all the nooks and crannies of the world rather than rushing through just for the sake of leveling, gear or the need to complete the game.
4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that? I am not a leader. I am a fairly laid back guy and I just don't really feel the need to be in charge. I just sort of do my own thing and let others do the same.
5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each. I was one of the founding members of my WoW guild. I was never a "force" in the guild. I played when I had time and helped the guild when I could. My favorite parts of my guild was working with a group of people who were fairly easy to deal with. I made several real life friends through my WoW guild and I had some really fun raiding experiences. I usually only went on dungeon runs that were for fun as I was not really geared for hard core raiding.
The worst part of the guild experience for me was the drama. I am not interested in egos and people fighting over who gets to raid and who gets the loot. In the end, it is a game and it is not worth getting bent out of shape over. I play this game for fun and I have never allowed the game to become a source of stress for me.
6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you. As I mentioned before I am a life long gamer. I am a 36 year of man who works at a comic and game store (Mayhem Comics in Des Moines IA) while attending community college full time.
I run the local D&D 4e organized play at my store and I also coordinate warhammer and warhammer 40k events as well. I also collect and play a variety of board games and read the occasional comic when I have the time.
I have never listened to the order 66 podcast. I did NOT start listening around episode 25, which I hear was terrible. Anyone who says differently is a rebel agent attempting to besmirch my good name to the Imperial authorities.
I hope this gives you an idea of what kind of player I am. If you think that I would be a good fit for the guild then I look forward to hearing from you. If my casual style does not fit your needs, or you simply don't have the space, I understand. I don't mind if I have to miss out if someone else really wants a spot and the space is limited.
UPDATE!! per the instructions below, I have started a Jedi Knight named Tyronxandar on the Vrook Lamar server. I have another character on another server, but I switched when I determined what server would be the host for the order 66 guild. May all your hits be crits

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66? Well From what I hear It's a Pretty Good guild. analyzing the Fact That I hear mostly good things about it. Its pretty Big on the Vrook Lamar Server. Plus I hear you are all Quite helpful.
2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies? Well Im currently Level 18 Jedi Consular(Shadow) And I'm Pretty dedicated to SWToR As I have spent 40+ Hours since I got the Email on Thurs. Pretty Nerdy But I like the game:D And I'm also willing to help fellow guildies when I can. 3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.
I am a Little of Each. I don't Have a main preference really. I like being a Casual Player But I don't focus on raiding. Its Actually really fun to me But I would rather RP and run through the story line with my fellow guildes.
4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that? I Would gladly Accept that position, I Have Managed Various Guilds And owned Guilds On many different Games (ex. Starcraft, Guild Wars, and WoW)
5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each. At one point in a Clan history of Mine We were At war with another clan, And stuff was going bad. We lost our channel and our members were being recruited. So I called upon an old friend of mine and me and him worked some magic And shut down the enemies. Worst experience would have to be about 3 years ago. I was a Kid and Was Quite Power-Hungry. And in the End I got the Bad end of the deal. But I Learned from my mistakes.
6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you. Well I'm a Sophmore In Highschool and Reside In Washington U.S.A. I Try to manage my Gaming time with my friends so I'm not too much of a shut in :3 But im pretty cool and a nice person in general with a chill personality:D

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66?Well, number one reason is that my husband AlphaAnt is already in it and I would like to see him occasionally. Also I am interested in being in a casual RP guild, and already have several characters on Vrook Lamar. My main (currently level 15) is a Jedi Sage. 2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies?I have some experience with WoW and a few other mmos, but I am not very hardcore. I have played lots of RPGs in my time so I am comfortable with the mechanics. I am patient and mature, and I like to help people learn. 3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.I am a casual player and I enjoy RP. I also like crafting. I try to resist the lure of the Dark Side, but have been known to stray from time to time. 4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that? No, footsoldier all the way. 5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each.I have been in small casual guilds in WoW and other games. It's always good to have friends to play with. I would say the main downsides have mostly been seeing people who play too much and the toll that can take on personal lives (one of the main reasons I am a casual player). I don't think that Order of 66 players are the type to run into this. 6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you.I am a longtime RPG player, tabletop, console, and pc. I am in my 30s, and as I said above, married to AlphaAnt. I love SciFi and Fantasy about equally and have been into Star Wars all my life. I love my Twi'lek characters, but what I really want is to play a Nautolan. My character name is Renza'an, you can call me Ren if you have a hard time pronouncing Ryl.

Hi Gang!
People in this thread prior to this post please edit your post so character names are included.
Also, anyone filling out an application from this point forward will be brought into the guild as an Initiate. People before this point can expect to come in as a Revanchist (or promoted to that fairly soon after).
Thanks!

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66? I would enjoy playing with a group of mature players, of which I know by many hours of listening to D20 radio podcast this is what the guild
will be composed of.
2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies? I enjoy grouping and being the silent helping hand that works in the background to keep the group functioning
(or at least alive) which is why my favorite roll is the support roll
3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game. I would discribe myself as a causal player, generally I will play at least 2 or 3 hours a
night
4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that? I have done leadership position in other guilds in the past. I do not see myself as a
leader type however, "Supporter" describes me better
5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each. Most of my experiences have been positive. The best experiance I have had was my first guild playing Dark Age of
Camalot. We had a great group of friends that would do just about anything for each other. This is where I think I learned my supportive gaming habits. The worst was on Star wars Galaxies,
where the guild had a dispute about allowing a group into the city. I was in a guild leadership position at that time. The argument was if allowing the second group to build houses in out city
would lead to us loosing control of the city in the elections vrs the potential benfits. After some debate the issue was resolved quite well using nothing but good ole fasion pursasion. Even
this was more of a positive experance then negitive in what I learned.
6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you. 37ish Male, technical support tech for my local school district here in the Dallas area. I have been
gaming, Table top RPGs and MMOs for more then half my life.
7. And finally, finally, what is the name, if any, of the Character you would like to have in th

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66?
I want to join because I am friends with two of your members, Nyrehtak and Preacher23. I used to play SWG with them, back in the good old days of pre-CU, where a Wookiee smuggler could earn creds at every street corner.
2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies?
I have mmo experience from the afore mentioned SWG, to WoW and finally Rift. I am a supportive player, always willing to give a guildie a hand. I have been known to spend a good while helping members learn the game mechanics etc.
3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.
My play style has varied depending on the game. In WoW I was a semi-hardcore raider, my guild didn't do hardcore raiding we were more middle of the road. In SWG, I did all sorts, RP/hang out at the cantina, go exploring, slice, decorate. I was slightly obsessed about decorating at one point, even creating a robot acklay out of bits I found, even had a rocket firing from it!
4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that?
I would say I would be interested, but not tot he point that I seek it out. This may sound odd, but I have never sought leadership roles out, they were always thrust upon me. But I always took up the challenge and I felt I was successful with what I had. I have been a guild leader, officer, head officer and raid leader; so I do have experience in this area. 5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each.
Starting from SWG, I was in a few guilds. First one was a hardcore Imperial outfit out of Lok. Things were pretty good in this guild, made me feel at home and helped me with the game. This was my very first guild. This guild disbanded suddenly after the guild leader logged on and took the city structures away. Best moment of the guild was when a large rebel attack force came and attacked our city. They were making their way down lok and as we were the southern most city, we got hit last. We held out for as long as we could until reinforcements landed en mass and drove them off. Next 2 guilds are linked to each other as one formed into the other. This is where I met Nyrehtak. Best moments of the guild were generally the mistells that happened with certain members of the guild and "Female acquaintances", happened a lot. Worst was probably the eruption which lead to the creation of the 2nd guild. The guild leader was a horrible person who thought he was all that and forced a guildie to leave. Having none of this most of us left, leaving a few choice words in his direction. The final guild in SWG was the most important one. It is the guild which I was a member of the longest. It is hard to pin point the best times there, but anything pre-CU was good. Worst was the eventual slow demise of the guild to the point I was the last one on. Now WoW, again was a mixed bunch of guilds. I was in a few random guilds which held no sway on me on various low level chars. The main ones, oddily, were nearly all scottish based. The longest guild I was in, was the one I set up with my friends from uni. Probably one of the best guilds I have ever been in. Pre-BC was the pinnacle in my eyes of this guild. Well, the original version. The story of that guild is quite long and a lot of things happened, which I could devote a longer post to. Finally Rift, was member of one guild there on the only EU RP server. They were terrible. Grammar was awful, some of the back stories came from outwith the general story of Rift. Guild leader was quite inexperienced and naiive at the tender age of 15. It had potential, but would never be fully realised. 6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you.
I'm James Slater, aged 25 and from Scotland. I am a trainee Software development engineer, hoping to get the trainee removed once I pass my MCTS. I enjoy gaming, reading Hunter S Thompson books when I get the time and obsessing over Wes Anderson films. And, to which Nyre will tell you, I like to have a wee tipple now and then. Probably more here, but I be damned If I can remember them!
7. And finally, finally, what is the name, if any, of the Character you would like to have in the guild?

I made the questions in bold, with underlines, because I'm fancy. So there. 1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66?I have real-life friends who are members, who have recommended it to me. To be honest, that is about it, I cannot say that I know very much about you. Joining guilds is not something that I spend too much time fretting over, I simply seek to join, and through the application process and my early membership, be myself. It either works out for me and them or it doesn't. Here's an idea, let's give that a shot, eh? 2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies?Skills? No, I think you have the wrong person. But I do like to write and participate in well-developed roleplay. Everything else is, at least in theory, figure it out as I go along. In practice, I don't usually figure it out and either successfully pretend to know what I'm doing or just stare off into space... 3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.Casual on gameplay aspects, but I do have a pretty heavy presence online. I spend most of my time roleplaying. Shakespeare was right in a sense, all the virtual world is a stage. 4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that?I don't have anything to recommend myself for such a role at this time. I view leadership as something you do when people inform you with a snicker, "dude, you drew the short straw." If I came upon such misfortune at some point while a member of this guild, then I would begrudgingly accept it and do my best. 5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each.I played WoW for four years, though I didn't actively participate in endgame content until Cata. I know, that basically means I didn't raid at all. However, I was part of a decent guild that made it all about... what they were about, to be a little redundant, and nothing else. I can't stand pointless drama, and have had bad experiences with it. I know how to stay away from it and endeavor to do so to every possible extent. 6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you.If you want a character witness, consult Tir-Jin. IRL there's not much to me. I'm a nerd who works at a pizza place and attends college online. I spend as much time as I can between a combination of playing videogames that are based around meaningful and in-depth plotlines and developing my own plots within those games. I like to think I'm at least a fairly tolerable guy. I can be a bit long winded. I have a sense of adventure and love to discover new things and meet new people... in fact, I used to be an adventurer, but then I took an arrow in... oh, what's the point. 7. And finally, finally, what is the name, if any, of the Character you would like to have in the guild?SlyJames. People who know me might ask, why did you name your character after that guy? And I honestly don't know. It seems to fit a smuggler. For roleplayers, his full name is James "Sly" Athrawes. That's about all I got right now on him. Roleplay at this point will be probably be limited to, "where's my damn ship?" Give me some time!

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66?Well i have a friend in your guild and he says friendly people
2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies?I am a veteran of MMO's as i have played DAOC, Guild Wars, WoW, Lotr, Everquest 2. I am a comfortable playing in any style of character from a main tank to dps that is peeler and also to a healer.
3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game.my style is usually casual on on the pve side and pretty hard core on the PvP side
4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that?i am ok either way i was a gm in daoc for awhile on pelinor in daoc we were mostly a pvp guild as we were an 8 person guild but when we some one needed something i would coordinate dates with people to setup a time when we could all help each other get the item we each needed
5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each. the best guild experience was when i was invited to a wedding out of state went and staid at guildies house was a blast. before daoc i had never met the people but i am still friends with them now. Worst experience i had was in wow where i was in a guild that no one that wasn't an office would get invited on raids unless one of the other officers were gone.
6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you. lets see i work in IT, i am voracious reader i read roughly 2-3 books a week. I am a avid golfer and play softball.
7. And finally, finally, what is the name, if any, of the Character you would like to have in the guild? My characters are Veruca who is Jedi sage and my sith sorcerer named Runi

1. Why do you want to be a member of The Order of 66? I know they love star wars and they are never leaving this game. Unless another comes out that is similiar to this and open ended like Star Wars Galaxy. The Order might be conflicted.
2. What skills do you have that will further the experience of your fellow guildies? I have played several games and I like to group and kill things like everyone else.
3. What is your playstyle? (Casual, hard core raiding, RP?) and explain what you like to do in game. Mostly casual and rp if you force it on me. I lean towards crafting and adventuring. Depending on the season [school or not] I become hardcore player who you will see on the crack of dawn. Love those teaching hours.
4. Do you want to be responsible for a leadership position in the guild, and what qualifies you for that? If it comes my way it is cool. If not I will stay on as a grunt and laugh with my friends as we tpk 5. Describe past guild experience, and share the best and worst of each. It has been mostly good. I do not like being forced to do something that doesn't interest me and I had a guild make that requirement. Most of the good ones develop with good team work and constant chatter.
6. Finally, let us know about you, and your background so we can start to get to know you. I am a junior high teacher so my hours vary on week days and I will play lot on weekends depending on if Wife is distracted by the tv. I like MMO's and have tried different ones, but I am out there to have fun with lots of people and make memories of all us dying at once.
7. And finally, finally, what is the name, if any, of the Character you would like to have in the guild? Phasmtis and Kesrith. a Jedi Knight and Bounty Hunter.
