Heya Recruiters! It's time to kick off our first Survey!
Go ask around and think of this yourself. What sort of role do you find yourself playing in these style MMO's. What sorts of roles does your recruits enjoy. Invite them to participate in this survey, as well as yourself. I'd like to know a general number of folks who like what style of play.

I put DPS, but I can't say it's what I'll want to play in the game. I'm OK with whatever role the character I'm playing is, my priority is just having a character I can play with that's cool, not a pain in the butt to use, and is useful to the party. I've settled for various things in different MMOs. In WoW, I played a tank or DPS, in Guild Wars I favored the healer or debuffer, in the short time I played City of Heroes I favored the Controller, etc.

I've always liked playing multiple roles, but my favorite would probably have to be the ranged DPS type.

I typically played some sort of healer class. Not always by choice just out of need since not many others want to. And I don't hate doing it. And if TOR can make a fun healing class I would be into that. But a lot just depends on what is needed. I would enjoy doing any role as long as its with people that make it fun. But a lot depends on what all classes they put in. And if I find one I just really think is the only one for me.

I always end up playing the healer because I'm good at it but I do favor dps but really I play whats needed.

I usually play a DPS class. I like to do damage and kill things as fast a possible.

I've played everything but the tank in my long life in mmos. My favs are healer/buffer, dps, and logistics. As such, I placed my vote into logistics as I'm assuming most don't tend to enjoy it.

Based on how I play STO, I guess I am a Tank type. In that game I tend towards cruisers and spreading my attacks around. Not sure yet how I will play TOR. I expect my prime character to be a Jedi with my first Alt being a trooper. I do tend towards high rate of fire weapons with an area effect. Yes, give me the mini gun and greanade launcher.
