As much as I enjoy 'Mortal Kombat' -- which is probably far too much -- this looks...well, terrible.

Well, I'm sure the gameplay will be just as good as that of the recent 'Mortal Kombat' -- though I don't think gameplay is the big selling feature for that franchise -- but, I'm the art direction and the general feel that's being portrayed in the trailer is...not what I want from my DC comics. Flash wearing some ridiculous armour. Soloman Grundy with a back full of knives. Very few things rank higher on my Not Fun Chart than angry Superman yelling and shooting people with his heat vision.

Also, there's 'Mortal Kombat vs. DC' from a few years back to consider, and that game was not great.

Still, considering that there's only a limited roster revealed at this point, there's still a chance that I might be able to beat up Batman with Green Arrow, and that would be very tempting....

Because that's what Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe was missing - less Mortal Kombat characters.

I'll be interested to see what they put forth at E3, but as of right now, not even on my peripheral vision list (and I played the crap out of the new Mortal Kombat).

But I agree. The characters look absolutely ridiculous (though if I were going to get the crap kicked out of me all over the Marvel Universe, knocked out of Earth's atmosphere, and then slammed back down to Earth, I would probably want to wear some armor.

The characters -- especially Flash -- still look painfully bad, but I liked what boon has to say, here.

Also, twenty plus characters? If Green Arrow isn't on the roster, I'll be staggered, so now this is pretty much a must buy for me.
