Damn you and your obscene amount of knowledge...
I was thinking i could use the abilities together. because i could not find anywhere that said i could not. But i did find it does say that in the glossery under "replaces turn"...should have checked there. I checked missles & charging fire but not replaces attacks.

You learn something new everyday.

I would still plan on using the Vangaurd with mobile to keep them out of trouble as much as possible...When do you plan on getting on vassal again? Could we set up a match for sometime soon?

oh & i almost forgot....
Thank You

I would say tonight but I plan on listening and maybe participating on SHNN, which has switched its broadcast time to 9pm cst. They'll go for about an hour, til about 10pm cst. That would make it 11pm my time...which may work, depending on if this old geezer is still alert.

I was going to get on vassal after SHNN but they ran late and i'm an old bastard who cant stay up that late on school nights...Layne has to be at school at 7:15 and i go to work right after so i get up around 5:30...
My TalkShoe Crapped out so i missed the last part with info on who picked up the game(which was not more info then we had it sounds)

That was my first SHNN (live or otherwise) Jim it was good to Hear/Talk to you again. I am getting a quote together for the VSETs and hopefully will have a price today. I may have you send the quote to dean as he is harder to get ahold of then a greased pig.

Can we set up a vassal game for this weekend- maybe saturday night? Brev, jim, ZD....anyone really, that question is for you

Not too much tom foolery here.....

--Mando Super Commando squad--
57 Boba Fett, Mercenary Commander just plain BA...and gives out accurate Shot.
28 Mandalorian Commander Gives out mobile
23 Mandalorian Captain gives out Twin
69 Mandalorian Supercommando x3 Now with Mobile Twin and Accurate to go with sniper for 30 damage a pop
8 Taung Warrior- Needed 8 points and wanted it to be mando
6 Mouse Droid x2 extend the CE's of the captain & Boba
9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3 Door/Activation Control

(200pts. 12 activations)

Pretty Straight Forward

Nice squad, Joe. I'm thinking Soresu Style Mastery would give it trouble, but with the amount of withering fire you have, maybe not.

I am going to try and get on Vassal tonight. I say 'try', because it depends on if we have family plans or the wife wants to watch a movie. Or... if my son gets lost going back to college and I have to go find him lol...

I was on later last night but never saw y'all... watched my GenCon teammate Weeks play for a bit, then retired to watch some Robotech on Hulu. Today or tonight?

I think i saw the end of that game - a booster league game or something...
I, most likely will not be on tonight but if i am I hope you are and we can get a quick game going.

I played brev on fri night and he beat the _ _ _ _ out of me. I played like it was my first time, missing rules that i have known for years. I'm not trying to make excuses because he beat me fair and square but brev, you know i want a rematch. Not that i'll win but i'll put up more of a fight for sure. :D

Anytime, brotha'.

It was just fun to hang out with you for a couple of hours, play some minis and laugh.

I was ON FIRE with the rolling, though. That didn't help.

And we both messed up; you placement and me rules (imagine that!), but for two 100 point squads it was a blast.

I plan on getting a PROXY soon so i wanted to start to build with him....

--Seps seeing double--
57 General Grievous, Droid Army Commander 19 def, 8 attack, 20 damage for proxy to copy then +4 attack, +4 Def & Twin to all droids.
41 PROXY probably use the t1 or GG,DAC to steal stats from then get the bonus from the CE's and SA. To have a possiblity of 50 damage on a double twin or even just a twin if he moves
23 Commando Droid Captain Droids w/in 6 gain double attack
40 T1 Series Bulk Loader Droid x2 Starts with 140 HP, 15 Def, 8 Att, 40 Damage then gets double twin, +8 Att, +4 Def and +10 Dam for a total of 140 HP, 19 def, 16 att, 50 Damage on four attacks. mean. melee reach 2 as well.
15 Battle Droid Sergeant ROger Roger gives Droids w/in 6 gain +10 Damage
12 Gha Nachkt Droid re-costing and droid fixing if needed
8 Battle Droid Officer Fire control gives +4 Attack
4 Mouse Droid x2 Activations and extend the commando CE

(200pts. 10 activations)
I know that there is not a lot of non-melee on this squad but i would try to keep them in cover to add to thier def.
Any thought on improvements or alternate figures....

I have been messing around withcunning squads and giving them opportunist. This is similar to the squad for the gang war i built n=but i actually started this one before then:

33 Deliah Blue Has Accurate, Cunning & Mobile and gains Opportunist & jolt
23 Clone Commander Bacara basic super stealth CE
21 Admiral Yularen give out opportunist to non-melee
42 GenoHaradan Assassin x2 a cloacked cunning mobile loner now with opportunist and twin. If someone does come close he has poisened blade
15 Whiphid Tracker A nice figure all around with cunning +20, sniper. Gains twin and opportunist.
13 Czerka Scientist Basic czerka ability
33 Elite Clone Trooper x3 superstealthy with opportunist & Jolt
5 Rodian Diplomat Diplo with it's a trap! also now has opportunist.
15 Ugnaught Demolitionist x5 door control and activations to help use the opportunist.
(200pts. 16 activations)
The general idea is to use the uggies and the Whippid (cunning +20) early. Keep the cloaked and super stealth in cover to keep fire off of them. Get the rodian out in front to fire on those he's able to with opp. and use it's a trap as much as poss. Use deliah's mobile to keep her 60 hp out of action but attacking with accurate and cunning/opportunist/jolt.

Thoughts?

mostly activations....I made a few changes in this squad since posting and am much happier with it. Here goes:
40 Plo Koon, Jedi Master
23 Clone Commander Bacara
21 Admiral Yularen
42 GenoHaradan Assassin x2
13 Czerka Scientist
44 Elite Clone Trooper x4
5 Rodian Diplomat
6 Mouse Droid x2
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

(200pts. 15 activations)

Same general squad but with plo instead of Delilia blue. Plo gives the clones a death shot and a possible 30-40 damage on that shot? using base dam 20 +10 for opportunist applies +10 if the killing figure is adjacent...cool.
