In this episode Oldscool and Schubudah look at taking your WFRP character out of the empire and journeying to the other nations of the old world. We discuss reasons why one may leave there home nation and what problems they could face in foreign lands.

We are also joined by MostlyJoe for part of the cast who adds his gamming knowledge to the mix.
We at Small but Vicious are pleased to welcome Joe back onto the D20 Radio airwaves and wish him luck with all his future projects.

Hi guys,

I enjoy your podcast and listen regularly. I just signed up expressly to thank you guys and the guys at 'Roll for Initiative' for a job well done. Keep 'em coming.

I don't get to play WFRP on the tabletop much these days, but I run a campaign and play in another on rpol.net. It's the not the same as tabletop but it scratches the itch well enough.

If you want to check out the game so far here's the URL: http://rpol.net/game.cgi?gi=38536&date=1270143258

Cheers, gents! Sigmar preserves!

Rod

Good show guys. Too bad MostlyJoe couldn't stick around through the whole thing though.

One side notion I had while listening was to consider a talent that typically gets overlooked, but would be very useful in traveling abroad.

Seasoned Traveler, which gives you a 10% bonus to Speak Language and Common Knowledge checks. Heck, you could even let PCs with this talent get the bonus when making checks to see if they can stomach the "local cuisine," as they've probably expanded their palate a bit more than the usual Empire-raised individual.

There's not too many 2e careers that start off with this (only one that comes to my mind is the Knight Errant out of Knights of the Grail, but only because I've played on and the talent came in handy during his forays into the Empire), but it could make the difference between a minor faux pas and an international incident.
