So, I'm a HUGE mass effect fan, especially number 2. I like it nearly as much as Star Wars. I've recently started running a fringe campaign for a party of two, with a human scout, who specializes in stealth, and a togorian soldier, who is a way to powerful martial artist. They are currently level 3, about halfway to level 4. I took the names of the three major Merc groups from ME2, blue suns, blood pack, and eclipse, all three being organizations that operate out of nar shaddaa and nal hutta.
The party is currently on a blue suns controlled space station, a shadowport that allows all Merc and pirate groups to trade and dock as long as they don't start going to war with each other. However, eclipse is about to break that law and try and take over the station. This will cause a huge battle on the main trading deck between the three major mercenary units, and the party will have to chose to side with one.
So long story short, I need some advice on how to run mass effect organizations in the saga system. The blood pack will be mainly incorporated of wookies, gamorreans, humans, and Kath hounds as war beast (instead of varren). The blue suns will be incorporated of humans, duros, ubese, and will utilize old droids from the clone wars as troops (like they use mechs). The eclipse will have a bunch of humans, kel dor, mon calamari, quarren, and anyone who can use the force. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on adapting these concepts into military units/teams, as well as basic stats for vanguards for the eclipse (I assume basically short range weapons with a few basic force powers). By the time this encounters happens the characters will be probably level 5.
Sorry for the long, rambling post. I'm doing it partly for myself, I need it layed out. If anyone has any ideas, they'd be greatly appreciated.
