Would anyone mind if I collected the conversions in this thread in a pdf, and made it available to all on my website? Credit for each character will be given to each poster unless the post says otherwise.

I've got no problem with that. I think it's a pretty cool idea actually. I know it was done a while back with d20 Modern.

Excellent. If a character from this thread, or its counterpart thread over on the Wizards forums, doesn't make it in to the file it's because the stat block was incomplete, or the creator said something wasn't applied that should've been.

It'll be a bit before I have the first version available for viewing. I have two threads to comb through. This four page one, and a twelve page one plus a handful of my own conversions to finish up.

Ok save for the remainder of my Firefly conversions, and a couple of characters/monsters that I had issues with, I have a tentative version available. Keep in mind this tentative copy is not posted to my site yet. Also, it only comprises the characters from this thread and a couple starship conversions from a WotC thread. The ships just had to be added when I saw the write-ups for Caprica-Six & Gaius Baltar.

Character/Monster Issues
=Page 1=
John McClane = stat block is a bit mangled
Alien = seems incomplete
The Fonz, George Washington, Phillip J. Fry, Bender Bending Rodriguez, The Lone Wanderer = Original poster said, "Note: Some of the Destinies the characters have listed as completed haven't actually had the benefits applied." These will not be added until the destiny issue has been corrected/resolved.

=Page 2=
Eugene "Flynn Rider"= Where is the Fugitive class from?

I'm guessing it's supposed to be Outlaw. That's where the talents listed are from.

If that's the case then I'll add him but change the class name to Outlaw instead.

I figured since all I have left to do is my version of the Serenity (from Firefly) I'd toss the conversion document out. So here you go. I hope you all enjoy it!

Star Wars SE - Fan Conversions

Remember the only characters that I've include here are my own, and ones that I found in this thread here. Contributing authors are listed on page 3 of the pdf, and then again before the characters that they made.

Here's a little something I threw together a couple of months back after seeing the movie again.

Shrieking Eel CL 5
As long as a man is tall, the shrieking eels inhabit various bodies of water where they hunt for their food. Don’t expect a fair deal from one.

Medium Aquatic beast 6
Init +12; Senses Perception +3
———————————————————————–
Defenses Ref 20 (flat-footed 16), Fort 12, Will 10; +6 natural armor
hp 39; Threshold 12
———————————————————————–
Speed swim 8 squares
Melee bite +5 (1d6+1)
Base Atk +4; Grp +10
Special Actions constrict, Pin, shriek
———————————————————————–
Abilities Str 13, Dex 18, Con 14, Int 2, Wis 10, Cha 6
Special Qualities serpentine
Feats Crush, Pin, Skill Training (Initiative)
Skills Initiative +12, Swim +9 (can reroll and take the better result)

Constrict - If the shrieking eel successfully grapples an enemy, it can use the Crush and Pin feats as normal. When crushing, however, the beast deals 2d6+4 damage.
Serpentine - The shrieking eel is treated as if he were one size larger for the purposes of grappling.
[b]Shriek[b/] - As a standard action, the shrieking eel can emit a horrifying shriek that can unnerve its prey. The eel makes a special attack roll (1d20+3) against the Will Defense of all creatures within 20 squares. Success means the target is shaken, taking a -2 penalty to attack rolls and Reflex Defense. If the target is adjacent to the shrieking eel, it means the target is so taken with fear that they lose their move action on their next turn. This is a mind-affecting fear effect.

Design Note: I toyed with the idea of giving the creature the Powerful Charge feat, as it’s favored tactic in the film clearly seemed to be a straight line run at it’s foe. However, after coming up with the Serpentine ability, I thought constricting it’s prey after they’ve been immobilized and dragging them down underneath the ocean crushing the life out of them while they simultaneously drown seemed scarier (as well as slightly more intelligent.

I totally love it, seeing as I just watched this again fairly recently. I do agree that it is scarier, but te eels were not intelligent, but were frightening psychologically due to the shrieks, then burst out of nowhere to charge. Perhaps sneak attack could be implemented in some way to take advantage of their charging from concealment?

Oh my good sir, someone has some nerd homework to do.

The princess brides one of the best movies of all time. And one of the most quotable.
