Insanity CL 6
The horror of vile deeds and unthinkable consequences weigh in on you all at once, crashing into your conscience and forcing you into the darkness within your mind.
Mind-Affecting
-----------------------------------------------
Trigger A creature is exposed to a life-altering consequence or horror that forces them to withdraw into themselves.
Attack +8 vs. Will Defense
Damage The target moves -1 persistent step on the condition track.
Recurrence Every round after the trigger, until the attack fails, or a suitable interruption or bolstering by an external force occurs (per GM discretion).
-----------------------------------------------
Skills
Endurance (DC 22): Once per round, as a swift action, a target may attempt to steel themselves against an attack. Success grants them a +2 bonus to Will Defense against the attack for 1 round.
Use the Force (DC 17, Trained only): Once per round, as a swift action, a trained Force User target can attempt to steel his mind and call upon meditative techniques and the power of the Force. Success grants them a +2 bonus to Will Defense against the attack for 1 round.

Special
Any target who has not fallen to the Dark Side reduces their Will Defense against this attack by the number of Dark Side Points they possess. The persistent conditions inflicted by a successful attack can only be removed by extensive rest, meditation, counseling, or a similar activity (as determined by the GM). If a target is moved to the bottom of the condition track by one of these attacks, they do not fall unconscious, but instead enter a gibbering or catatonic state, completely unresponsive and without reason, either fleeing the scene as fast as possible or unwilling to move (as determined by the GM).
So what you've got here is a hazard that attacks Will, gets nastier if you've committed vile deeds, and will impact someone partially with maddening doubt - which can grow if the attacks keep succeeding - leading to utter, gibbering, madness. The hazard stops continuing to affecting you the instant it fails an attack roll on you; so a strong willed and light-sided person can brush this off, potentially; your average character might move 1 or 2 steps down the CT; and a dark character (who hasn't fallen, yet) is in a world of hurt. Hope this helps some...
Excellent! I would totally use this for an adventure.
