Cinowyn "Lady Wynn" Antilles, a Rebellion Era character of mine (the daughter of my namesake Z'Rissa) has a heavily modified (prototype template from SotG) 2 seater X-wing called Star Dancer. The snub's backstory is that it was a variant X-wing that Incom & Rebel leaders had decided not to put into production. Shortly before ANH, Wynn, a Tantive IV Midship, had decided to become a starfighter pilot trainee for the Alliance. Her mother & stepfather, Captain Antilles, reluctantly gave their blessing and arranged to purchase the prototype for her as well as give her one of the Tantive IV's R2s. Since Aldaraanian nobles purchasing a military ship would have raised Imperial eyebrows, to say the least, all documentation (bill of sale, registration, etc.) referred to a "sport skiff" (a small in-system--no hyperdrive--vessel often purchased by indulgent noble parents for spoiled teenaged offspring) named Star Dancer. Lady Wynn used the name of the fictitious craft out of fondness for her late parents.

I have deleted a post in this thread because it was reported for some vulgarity. Let's try to keep it clean on here, for all of us.

I know there was an issue with the old boards that if a thread was dormant for too long, it got purged. I lost a couple threads myself that way.

lol..makes me chuckle. This one is just asking to be boarded (anyplace but a shadowport): "Okay, this one gets the Deee-Lux-ey Customs Inspections package tour. Oh, and if they offer a bribe to you upstanding Customs Officers, the fine just increased to the cost of a large moon. Boss said we had to offset the budget cuts somehow..."

The Ship my group currently uses is called "The Dissident" a great name for a rebel ship. The group before that had "The Discord" great name for a pirate ship.

The ship that our crew of bounty hunters/freelance clandestine operatives fly about in is called "Burn Notice." Supposedly plays into the background of the ship's owner and pilot (who is a Cade Skywalker pastiche, swapping Rawke for Skywalker), but it seems fitting for the kind of miscreants we are (the only character without any Dark Side points on their tracker is the Twi'lek Force Medic).

This was for a longrunning (10 years) Champions game, not SWRPG, but I'm still so fond of it, I had to post it.
The Flying Pan was an atmospheric and insystem spacecraft, shaped like a--surprise!--frying pan. It was named by the Red-neck Jedi, whose PC piloted it, for the cliche, "Out of the frying pan, into the fire." Which pretty much described our missions. So much so that one of my PCs, a winged teenage heroine who aspired to be a rock star, liked to annoy her "elders" on the team by singing "Sloop John B" ("This is the worst trip I've ever been on") every flight.
