I would be curious to find out what the players liked best about the Star Wars Saga edition game and conversely, what they liked the least about the system. Is there anything about the game that they would change and if so, what would that be? Further, if WotC still supported additional releases, which would they most want to see? Which, if any, are regrettable releases?

Personally, from a game master perspective, I would have liked to see more material released for actual play like the Dawn of Defiance campaign. In each game book, I have found something of interest, however, I would have preferred a better system employed for mass combat as written in the Clone Wars Campaign Guide. I ran three of these type encounters and found it very difficult to keep up a good pace and the players' interest. After three sessions of mass combat in a row, I and my extended gaming group have vowed never to return to it. So, as an adjunct to the above, I would like to know if the players had some experience with mass combat and if so, I'd like to know what their impression of it was.

The Lord of the Rings game by Decipher had a really great system for mass combat. I'll pm you the details.

Thank you. I actually am in possession of a hard copy of the Core Rules for LOTR. I had not cracked it open enough apparently to see that it had rules governing mass combat. I shall take a closer look today.

I have no idea if it would work, or if it would be fun listening to... but I wouldn't mind a Player's Guide. Things that can be said to a player who is about to begin playing DoD, what to think about when designing their character and what to expect from the game. A discussion completely without spoilers, perhaps about the Dark Times as an era or so. Problems about playing a noble in combatfilled parts of the campaign, playing a soldier in social parts of the campaign etc.

I don't think this has come up before, but I would love a round table on "Advice for the aspiring live play podcaster".
