and feeling completely overwhelmed. Your podcast has been a tremendous help and I love the interviews. I'll be joining a friends Carrion Crown AP in a few days (starting on book 3 as level 7 characters) and I feel like there are just so many options that my head is constantly spinning. I've probably rolled up 10 different characters now and as soon as I'm happy with what I have, I see another class... and then there's dipping and multiclassing. AHHHHHH! Too many options!

But further to the point, you all have a terrific podcast! Keep up the good work, and I'll be downloading each new episode!

Thanks for the kind words. I am pleased to report that we ultimately did not choose to review Carrion Crown here on the podcast as we did not have the time to do so. While that might suck for your GM, it means there is nothing Spoilerific to interfere with your current AP on the podcast!

Character generation in Pathfinder is fraught with options. To be honest, there are way more options than you are likely even considering. We highly recommend Lone Wolf Development's Herolab and suggest you try it out to get a better feel for what it can do. it really is the best character creation software out there and the demo will give you a feel for some of those options that perhaps you have been overlooking.

Still, every build has its most optimal path. While sometimes the cheese factor may go a little too high for that approach, we do recommend you know what your options are and know what possibilities you are passing on. The most satisfying build is a strong character concept that works across all levels, adds something new to your play options, is rarely boring to play -- and stays on theme. Herolab will help you do that.

It's awesome to hear from Steel_Wind himself! I'm actually using the free Herolab that was released for the Pathfinder Beginner Box and loving it!
