Hello - I created a Hero Lab -> MapTools converter called TokenLab. You can read about it here. It uses the new Hero Lab custom xml output to do a mostly-full conversion from the Hero Lab format to create a MapTools token that has lot-so goodies on it: attacks, saves, skill checks, character sheet, spells and special abilities listing, etc.

This is a fully open sourced project on GitHub, so anyone can contribute if they feel like hacking a little Java. Hope this is useful to ya!

Version 0.15 released. Includes:

Includes:

- a new resources tracker (screenshot below)
- basic d20 support
- more Mac friendly.

Thank you! I just released version 0.16, which contains a small bug fix for how resources are tracked, and some tweaks on tool user interface, so if you've already downloaded it and haven't started playing with it, I recommend grabbing the latest copy ( download link ) before trying it out.

Version 0.17 released and can be downloaded here.

Includes a number of new features, notably:

* the tokenlab UI now automagically tries to guess the token portrait and pog images based on the character name
* the maptool UI now features tracked spontaneous and memorized spells

Version 0.22 released. This is a minor release (no framework changes) where I've overhauled how hit points are handled. Notably:

1) There are now two hitpoint buttons, "+HP" (to heal) and "-HP" to harm.
2) All HP changes made to NPCs are now private to the GM. (Previously they went to everyone logged into the server, leading to some potential metagaming).
3) Fixed a bug where you die at -10 (old 3.5 rules), instead of at -Con.

You can download just the .jar file and put it in your Tokenlab/jars install folder, or you can do a fresh install by downloading the whole zip archive. New users should grab the zip archive. (Here's the install guide for new users).

Once inventory and a few other small features are released, we'll be close to a 1.0 prime release!
