Is it Bre-tak an homage to Master Bratak from Stargate? A jaffa kobold? thats somehow oddly perfect. This looks to be a really fun adventure path and Im really hoping to get to play one day!

[Campaign Update - 11/29/10][SPOILER ALERT ON LINKAGE]The brave Founders of Ceros are one session away from completing the second book of King Maker. The holiday season is notorious for trashing gaming schedules! Looking forward to shifting gears into Varnhold Vanishing by Mr. Greg Vaughan.

Each time we reach a new book in the AP, I create a new header for the campaign page to reflect our progress! [Check out the latest creation]Kingdom Growth:We have just completed our 24th cycle of kingdom building. The throne of Restov now recognizes Ceros as a Duchy. Below is an overview map of the kingdom. In following posts, I will show you our grid maps as well...

Serious Question for you Listeners:We will address this in Episode #012, but is there any interest in watching the Chronicles: Pathfinder Podcast's Host's Kingmaker Campaign live, weekly, on Justin TV? We currently play every Thursday Night, from about 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 ish, PACIFIC time. If you are in the eastern time zone, as I am, it runs until 2:00 a.m.. This would not be edited. Just a live feed of our game. We are currently *just* starting Kingmaker Vol 3, Varnhold Vanishing.Let us know if this is of interest to GMs. If we know people are watching, we'll probably all keep in character far, far more than we do, too. So there are some perks. And we can make sure Azmyth brings his A-Game to the table, too. To be clear, this is not a commitment -- just a sounding out to see if there is interest.

Hey Steel,
I think it would be very interesting to be able to watch you guys perform your craft so to speak. I wouldn't be able to watch it live as I don't have internet at home but if you would be able to provide downloadable content that would be fun. If not I completly understand, I mean your hands are already overfull with the podcast.

I am set to begin running Kingmaker in January and watching another group's approach to it would probably help me prepare for and run the adventure path. Not sure I could find the time often (definitely not every week), but it would be nice to know it was there. Too bad we can't go back in time to watch you guys start from the beginning.
That said, if this would prove to be a distraction to the game, or take time or effort away from gaming and podcasting, I'd say don't worry about it. Your monster episodes already give us a lot to chew on.

I would be intrested in watching this live. It would be nice to see how a more experienced group approaches their games. I have just got started in Pathfinder myself. Previously having been a PC in 2 other games systems WFRP and 4Th Ed, any tips i can pick up on being a GM would be great. The only possible obstacle in my way is time zones. Where do you sit on GMT?
Please forgive my ignorance i dont even know if you use daylight savings in the US so that would effect things a little too. Any info you can provide on this would be very helpful. Dont give yourselves too much extra work though, the Podcast is excellent and i would hate for anything to harm this. Keep up the good work one and all.

As it happens, we are definitely looking into Justin TV and there are some perks.
One of which happens to be that the broadcast is saved, so that people can watch it live (if they choose to do so) or can watch it later at another time of their choosing. This is a big bonus to us.
We are still looking into the technical logistics of all of this. We care about sound and image quality and don't want to do this half-assed if it does not meet our minimum standards. It also has to accomodate remote players at least in terms of sound. As matters currently stand, more than HALF of theplayers are about to be playing remotely, so this is a fair bit of bandwidth and technical juggling that has to be tested and have the tires kicked rather thoroughly.
Upshot: Jury is still out -- but stay tuned!

How do you handle remote players? We have been using Skype for video, they have a new 3 way video chat, and thats been a little buggy but got it working when we had two remote players. When it was just me I used two computers to run two cameras, one for video of me and received the other players in the game room, and the 2nd camera for my dice rolls and received an overhead of the game map/board. This gives a nice virtual experience. Is there a good multi-user video chat program? Do you use online dice rollers or shared table tops? We've also used Google docs for drawing maps on and that seems to work well too, although a bit clunky at times.
