Just so you know, if you happen to have to ship to any US Servicemembers anywhere in the world, you are only paying standard US continental parcel postage. I'd reccommend the "Flat-rate priority mailer" boxes.

APO & FPO addresses etc....

On Giant Centipedes....IRL over here we have (on occassion) real Centipedes that clock in at around a foot long.

I've always felt that the D&D "Giant" Centipede's measurement was always meant to reflect a foot or foot and a half TALL, not simply about the size of garter snakes. Making them more of the 8-10 feet long breed of crawly-suckage.

Additional options:
Deep-Cave centipedes that are translucent (near invisible)
Deep-Cave Sea Centipedes with Angler-Fish style glows
Infernal Centipedes that radiate heat and light, and start fires
Undead Centipedes
Vampiric Centipedes (basically variant Vampire with "swarm of vermin" form being centipedes)
Clockwork Centipedes (mini golems)
Regenerative Centipedes, that rapidly multiply as they get cut up....

Hey guys just wanted to post a comment on this latest issue of a very good podcast. I've listened to about 90% of your casts now and have been enjoying them.

when you were talking about alignment (a powder keg subject to be sure) you got on to how TETSNBN (The edition that shall not be named) did alignment and I'd thought I'd respond to clear up some confusion.

There are 5 alignments

Lawful good
good
Unaligned
Evil
Chaotic evil

unlike previous editions that had law and chaos mixed in to each, TETSNBN just went with the basics. The uber good guy is at the Lawful good end, the uber evil dude is down at chaotic evil, and most all other people fall somewhere inbetween. Unaligned is kind of a mix of the old neutral, neutral good, chatoic neutral . You pretty much are out for yourself though you will stop to help an old lady across the street, and you'll put yourself at risk for others if it helps you out as well. As with anything its all up to interpretation.

Another thing that was mentioned was the ability for people to have 'unaligned' paladins, and get derision and scorn was heaped upon the idea. I believe the reason that TETSNBN went that direction is all the flak about the Lawful stupid paladin. A paladin in TETSNBN is no longer the righteous evil smiting character from old. Its someone who has dedicated thier life to the pursit of thier gods agenda in the world. They are living embodyments of this, channeling the divine power of thier gods into themselves to strike down with fury the foes of thier god. Now if the paladin follows lets say a lawful good god, then they would uphold all those virtues that the god holds dear. On the other hand a Paladin of an Evil god would uphold those virtues that his god has. Both are divine warriors doing the will of thier gods, both weild the same kind of powers but how they apply it and to what extent are up to the DM and/or player to decide based on how they interpret how the god would act. TETSNBN pretty much took the streight jacket that was the paladin and tossed it aside, getting rid of the "use RP penalties and restrictions to balance a class" idea of the earlier editions. 1st and 2nd edition both came up with the 'evil' paladin idea already, TETSNBN just expanded on that.

anyway, great episode, thanks for all the hard work and I look forward to the next one.

1st Edition already had the "other Alignment Paladins". See Dragon Magazine.

Illrigger, yo.
