Hey guys,
I have a buddy that has that "curious about this pathfinder thing" look. Funds are tight for him so there was a conversation about the Beginner's Box. Given it is not out yet, I could only go on what's been published.
Since I have many of the Pathfinder books, I'm not sure I would pick it up for myself, but it looks pretty freakin sweet. It looks loaded. So my opinion for him was to get the box and check Path out that way.
Do you guys think you might have a chance or future slot to do a review of this Beginner's Box?
Thanks!

I already wrote the definitive review on The Beginner Box, the day it was released. Like all my ENWorld front page reviews, you can find it on the front page of ENWorld.org. My Beginner Box review is here. In light of what I already wrote, there is little reason to review it directly on the podcast, though we will be discussing other aspects of the box on the show.

My bad. Sorry, I don't spend much time on Enworld like I used to.
Thanks for the link!

Ok, picked this box up. Can I just say this thing is sweet. Is it for an existing player? Nope! (imho) BUT! Completely what a beginner needs.
I cracked this pup up and started teaching my 12 yr old daughter with my wife. Waayyy too much fun for the buck!
Got a son/daughter/nephew/neice that are curious what you are playing? Pick this up. Got a buddy that is curious? Split the cost and pick it up. When you're done running it, pass it on.
The counters are fun and handy, the dungeon is neat, and its teaching all along the way.
I thought the cost of it was worth it, well thought out. Kinda wish it was out years ago!
