Hello folks, and thanks in advance for any help that anyone can provide on this. I’ve been running a Jade Regent campaign, and one of the players is playing a Ninja with Vanishing trick and he’s using it to be an absolute holy terror to the point where this ability seems unbalancing. The ability to turn invisible as a swift action, run wherever, and then attack is just freaking hideous (generally with sneak attack), especially since he can do it 5 times a day. So I have some questions: 1. What is the rules mechanic for dealing with an invisible creature moving through an occupied space?
2. Does an invisible creature provoke an AoO when moving through a threatened space?
3. Is there some sort of pending errata, cause this ability in the hands of a level 2 character is just damn broketastic.
Thanks for the help!

Given my recent experience at Gencon with the impression some players have with stealth, fast stealth and the ever abused Hide in Plain sight, the whole subject seem ripe for a segment on the Deck of Many Things.
I am not sure I can cover ths on Episode 016 as there is another segement for the Deck I have planned, but if we don't do it in Episode 16 -- I will do it in the Deck on Episode 17.
Hang in there.

a. You're not full of shit.
b. Awesome! You can't believe how much I would appreciate it if you guys chimed in. I posted it on the Paizo forums, but it took about 2.3 nano seconds to draw snarky dick comments that aren't at all helpful and is now devolving to the point where I don't wanna even read it and knew I made a mistake askin there.
Thanks again, I and my party REALLY appreciate it!
p.s. obligatory ass kissing about loving the podcast, cause it is indeed awesome.

The vanishing trick is actually rather incredible, but then again that's the ninja's schtick. I think it's done that way intentionally.
But yes, it is VERY powerful. See the next CCW for info why.
