Awesome stuff, you guys! I'm excited to buy the book now. Any body hear anything about them visiting expanded classes like Ninja or Samurai? I'm bizarrely eastern in my 3.5 games for a guy with no real affinity toward the east.

Its been mentioned as something they are likely to do in the future (one of their Adventure Paths is going to take place in Golarion's Asia-like region), but they don't specific have something on the schedule. The Advanced Player's Guide, however, will have new classes and new class features for existing classes, and that's coming out next August.

So far the only future products i know of are the game are... - The GM Screen:Due out late this month - The GameMastery Guide: Due out May 2010 - The Advanced Players Guide: Due out Aug 2010 They have announced the classes for the APG, they are as follows: -The Alchemist: An arcane mystic who brews salves and unguents to modify his body in freakishly effective ways -The Cavalier: A noble warrior who weaves through high society as easily as he does the most treacherous battles -The Inquisitor: An agent of faith trained to root out the dark secrets and even darker monsters that haunt the forgotten corners of the world -The Oracle: A divine mystic dedicated to a mysterious occult tradition that grants her fantastic powers—but at great cost -The Summoner: An arcane spellcaster who conjures powerful servitor creatures from beyond the veil of reality to serve his whims -The Witch: A versatile caster who gains her spells from the eldritch whispers of her bonded familiar and casts potent hexes to aid allies and vex foes there are a few other items that are coming out, some of which this also: - GameMastery Face Cards: Friends & Foes Deck: Due out December - GameMastery Item Cards: Weapons Locker Deck: Due out December - GameMastery Item Cards: Kingmaker Deck: Due out Feb 2010 - GameMastery Face Cards: Enemies Deck: Due out March 2010 - GameMastery Plot Twist Cards: Due out May 2010 - GameMastery Item Cards: The Serpent’s Skull Deck: Due out Aug 2010 these GM decks are kind of cool in my opinion. they're not too expensive, and they are great when you're put on the spot for items or NPC's.

In the meantime however I created a samurai class for one of my players that you can check out here: The Samurai Class for Pathfinder.

So I just got the Bestiary and i must say, from what I've read it does not disappoint. The art is beautiful and, I like the lay out, and i love that every monster id depicted in the book.
i haven't read through the whole thing just a few entries and looked at all the pretty pictures. this just makes me want to run a pathfinder game that much more.

I'm looking forward to running Council of Thieves for my tabletop group once I get myself a copy of the Core Rulebook (which I'll be ordering no later than January, even if I have to have it shipped from overseas to get it ). Hopefully, it'll catch on, and I'll manage to convince someone in my group to run a module or two so I'll get a chance to play - even if I'll have to buy them the module to get it to happen, it'd be worth it. Edit: Woohoo! My online bookstore of choice (read: the only norwegian one that doesn't mark up prices by a ridiculous amount for just about anything roleplaying-related) sent me an email earlier today, notifying me that they'd gotten a copy in of the Pathfinder Core Rulebook! So, rather than paying the equivalent of about $89 (not counting shipping and handling) from one of the two other norwegian websites that have it in stock, or ending up paying about $90-ish ordering online from overseas, I'm now getting it for $47, with shipping and handling free of charge!

I just picked up my copy of the Core Rulebook at the post office, and concerning the name, I find it a bit misleading - this isn't a book, it's a freaking tome! This thing is huge, and I have no doubt it could easily be used as an improvised bludgeoning weapon, should the need arise. Also worth noting, the book looks really good, the design is top-notch, and it's definitely among the 'prettier' RPG-books I've got in my collection.

yes it is quite the tome, or maybe i should say manual...
...of gainful exorcise...
...+5 to strength...
...from lifting it...
...because it's so big...
...god that was a horrible joke. i will now hang my head in shame.
it is quite the book though, the quality is top notch and, the art is beautiful, and worth the hefty price if you ask me.

In fact, everyone who doesn't have one already should go out and buy it! And if the $50.00 price is too high, Amazon can provide it for only $31.50, with free Super Saving Shipping! http://www.amazon.com/Pathfinder-Rolepl ... 576&sr=8-1Now, let's see if I get lucky and get a copy of the Pathfinder Bestiary for Christmas...

When I have some time, I'm going to start new threads in this forum for some of the things we've been discussing in this thread, merging posts from this thread to the new ones. I'll leave this thread for general Pathfinder-discussion, though. Plenty of time left, though, so I'm not too worried, just yet. One week left to submit. Haven't made a lot of progress since last I posted here, other than deciding for sure that the item I'm currently working on will be the one I submit. Need to work out the math for the cost, then give it a name that's not nearly as generic as what I've currently got, and it's set.

I didn't - but I do have some credit to use at the german Amazon-site, which will cost me a whole lot less in international shipping than ordering from the american site, and I have to spend that credit somehow, anyway.

Well Christmas wishes do come true as I am now in possession of the Pathfinder Bestiary.
I love this book, by far my favorite monster book i own. I love the art for the goblins, it looks great.
as a side note, i just purchased Hero Lab with the Pathfinder data set. i really like this program, if you would like as i get more into the program with adding classes and such i'll post about it.
