Hey so finally got to this Episode. Not that I listened.
One thing, at the end of d20 docking bay, RAW I don't believe that Inspire Haste does
allow for standard-action Force powers to be used as a move action. age 77 of SECR specifically states that the Activate Force Power
application of the Use the Force skill "requires no action
." Therefore the actual skill check would seem to be "no action," whereas the Force power specifies the action cost for the actual power to take effect (not for the skill check to be made).
Since Inspire Haste allows an ally to "make a skill check that requires a standard action
as a move action," RAW I don't see it working with Force powers. I only discovered this a few weeks ago myself and was very sad
Great way to hasten a Deception to feint, though. So my Sentinel-Striking Jedi is still happy.
Edit: Also, a precedent exists for "dual-geared" implants (or at least for multiple implants in one brain). In KotOR 2, Canderous Ordo had multiple implants that he could activate (one at a time) to gain a number of different benefits. In some ways it was a game mechanic, but still it was a part of the story.
