Hey guys,

I've dug around and haven't found an in-depth discussion of the Jedi Service Corp. Its touched on a bit in a few of the Saga book and is in the EU but its largely left alone. I know its somewhat limiting in that its only found in the Old Republic and Rise of the Empire eras. But it does offer a broad canvas for players to explore the universe, the Order and the Force that doesn't involve the more classic Jedi models and player min-max archetypes.

Anyway I thought it might be good for a substantive look for the show. And I never listen to the Order 66 Podcast...during swtor class quest cut scenes.

That is a great topic. It could be a cool tool also for 1st level Jedi and not having a master around.

I like the idea of a more theme-based force user whose powers are chosen for flavor rather than combat power. It could be fun to play a young member of Agricorps who has Plant Surge and the Baran-Do "Planetary Attunement" talent (flavored as constantly getting information about her surroundings from the nearby plants) and otherwise has very little force power, or a Medicorps lieutenant that has focused on the healing aspects of the Force but is useless with a lightsaber.
