I was just looking over the Iron Knight force tradition (JATM page 78) and was wondering if it would make a good show topic. It looks like a way to get some advantages of being a droid without most of the disadvantages. For example, access to force powers, retaining a constitution score, and the possibility of a replica droid shell to bypass the droids are property roleplaying aspect. The only drawback I can see is that the character has a droid body without access to the independent droid prestige class. Without digging too deeply, it feels like this could open the door to some very effective (maybe broken?) builds. Force Adept hiding as an protocol droid anyone?
I am considering introducing one as an NPC in my game and can easily see my players wanting to take the idea and run with it once they realize it exists.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Those guys definetly piqued my curiosity when I saw them included in SWSE.
Consider this request "seconded".

Is 'thirded' a word? It should be really interesting - a cross between 'Servos and Circuits' and 'Visions of the Force.'

I'd also love to hear TFR do a Species Menagerie about Shards. Imagine all the wonderful bizarre builds he could come up with. Iron Knights are one of my favorite of the out of left field Force Traditions. It mixes my two favorite things about Star Wars, droids and Jedi. Merge to form, BROKETASTICRON!

I'd like to hear TFR's take on them as well.
